With all the dwarfs with the names like HSKJAGHHGO etc in Erica at about 6am to 8am GMT??? I think we all know what they are.........but the ones in the DE village are just about doing my head in.

who will farm materials when there aren't any farmer-bots?! you? sure go for it! ....
sad but truth an economy w/out mats support by farmers will be extremely overpriced .... manor system should have help fix that problem but farmers 'hijacked' it to get even more mats for sell ....
farmers control the market for mats, parts (-> 'normal' farmers) and a/s grade items (-> Raid Boss farmers)

I make lot money selling my mats, but in C3 competeing against the farmers was just impossible. Materials are a commodity that players need to craft their weapons/gear, instead of players looking to make money, u have 24/7 botting farmer group doing everything. Crafter or person found a means make money its convient, others it takes away money making opertunities.
Well anycase, since they have set the price so high now, I can make most of mats I can get my hands on.
Cal was right on the money about the elimination of the 'farmer' companies.
I will gladly farm mats for you, guess why I play a bounty hunter.
If there would be no farmers there sure would be one of us in every hunting group. Because otherwise you'd have to wait until you reach the level to afford your gear (look in the official library, lowest D grade is "lvl 25" by default). Or let me state it the other way around... if there would be one BH in every hunting group there would hardly be as many farmers. You don't have one single BH in your clan nor ever hunted with one? So long, and thank you for the bots.
I don't think that you could pay me. :) My free time is valuable. I guess you'd have to make a better offer than what I could make by using the mats myself.
BH are great fun to play... maybe we are not the most highly favored *cough* character for PvP.. but when it comes to spoiling skills and being able to carry a massive amount of shots, pots and essentials. I think we win hands down in those catagories. 50 to 100k of shots does not even begin to weigh me down in my BH -----------> the SH mmmm if lucky can carry about 500 Cb and 6000cbsps, and i have to be really careful about the other things she carries with that.. soe's, bsoe's, rez's, and pots...
Putting that all aside.. Why do you think for one minute the BH owes anyone their spoils ?? The BH expends a lot of SS in killing those mobs, and our play style is such that we do it over and over again to find the items we are spoiling for specifically. I have seen times until I get the item I am looking for, I will not share my spoils. Its not like I am asking you to give me half your drops. But if wanting spoils was your only reason to add me to party. Then I really need to look for a new party, and you need to head off to dwarven village and make a scavenger.. and learn to spoil your own mats.
Problem is, most people expect everyone to spam SS in groups, it's no different for a spoiler with spoils.
I personaly have no problems if the BH wants to keep all their spoils to themselfs in my group. I do have a problem is someone is seeding the Mobs we're fighting.
Well... as it is most people consider BHs absolutely pointless in PvE thanks to the secondary market... and when they are "forced" to level at a slightly slower pace and even don't get those 35 stems as rewards, that the spoil distribution in big groups would allow them... then unfortunately they don't see much point in inviting the dwarf anyway.
Another problem is the practical side... BHs usually aren't the ones who open up a new paty... hence don't get to choose the loot/spoil conditions. And there will be even less understanding for the situation of us dwarves when the group most be reformed just to let everyone else have less items. ;)
Cal, i am not arguing with your point. I have a lvl 67 BH I know how difficult it is to find parties for her. I usually do share my spoils with the party, but when I am spoiling for primarily one item. Then I am the one making the party and I will not share my spoils until I get the item I need. I may not be looking for the item for me, could be another person, or a clannie who needs it specifically. But, no I do not go out of my way to collect 1000 threads for resale. That is waste of my time.
At the moment everyone is looking for the DD, those who can and do deal great amounts of damage, very quickly. Players in this game do not care how much you spend individually to help them acquire their percentage. My SH 6X also, can party with 70's toons "effectively for them". Only because of the amount of damage she can do for the price of a blessed spirit shot. In some situations add the additional cost of cursed bone (Cb) at at about 300 a each.. makes it pretty expensive to play her for the main benefit of higher level party members when I get less than 2k exp distribution per mob in party play. I can solo for much more than that doing two shots on green/blue mobs.
Both characters the BH and the SH are easy targets for exploitation by other players for quite opposite reasons. When I party its usually because I feel the need to interact socially otherwise its more effective/efficient to just go it alone.
This game is too full of greedy arrogant morons, who cannot think further than their hand can reach.
Those moments of enlightment let me thankfully remember how good I have it in the clan I've been with for the last year. People who will party me just becaue I'm looking for party. :p Well only when I don't crash their game while using one of my two skills. >_<
