haste vs focus

no im not a glad

whats the best blunt if they both had same pattack
aoba with 7ish% attack speed
meteor shower with focus

(im sure i posted this before but for some reason the post disapeared)
blunt = attackspeed
sword/dagger = focus
with Focus3/DW3/Haste2 -> Focus SA
without Buffs -> Haste SA

For PvE that is...
For PvP stick to the MS with Focus
Even with a Focus SA on a blunt the critical rate will be low so the actual chance of critting aint improved that much. Also, the criticals a dwarf deals arent that spectacular so the haste most likely will add more DPS than the Focus, both pve and pvp wise. Haste also helps the skills to recharge faster so you might be able to pull off a few more stuns than with a Focus SA.

Dagger/Sword = Focus
Blunt = Haste
Unless you go for the Health in the case of Sword/Blunt(PVP SA) and Critical Damage for dagger(PVP SA)

exactly the reply i was looking for
forgot to add i got a slave se so i always have focus buff but as we all know dwarf with a blunt hardly ever crits

just trying to work out what would give the most dps in pve
most real dwarfs dont pvp anyway :P
BTW i never leave town without alacricy but genrally dont use gsaps
Haste will help you kill mobs faster in general, however focus will raise your average damage per hit by a small amount which saves you money on bsps in the long run. If you have an SE then this is improved by the focus buffs. Focus is definitely worth it for sword wielding classes, but as previously stated, I think that a dwarf may bet better off with haste anyways.
I've always thought of it this way:
1. Haste - Expensive but reliable damage
2. Focus - Cheap but inconsistant

Being that I never hunt without taking money into consideration - I'd go with focus. :D
