/findprivatestore - revised to contents not titles

at present you must second guess all the possible acronyms or abbreviated forms to use this tool

could this be revised to actually search contents and not names.
This would be nice. I don't know why they didn't do it like that to begin with

Since we're now complaining about this function, they might take it away entirely lol (Look at how they changed the rez message you get when you're asked if you want to be rezzed. On the pts, it told you how much xp you'd get back, but people were complaining that they wouldn't be able to tell how much percent the rez was, so now you get no info at all )
In addition to the /findprivatestore function, they could also add little spots on the map, to locate stores with the keywords/actual product (however they want it to be), in a different colour than party members.
I think the problem with getting /findprivatestore to actually look inside the shops is that info about the shop contents is only sent to your client when you actually open (click) the shop. So the make searching inside shops possible, the server would have to send that info for ALL shops whenever you enter a town - that would increase network traffic and cause more lag. But yes, it would be a very nice feature, because many times the shop titles do not really tell what is inside, and it would also help against some scams.
also, it would be nice to be able to enter more than one search word.

If I'm looking for A shot crafter I generally have to search for
A
then shot
then ***
then ss

until I find one. would be nice to be able to do all in one search.
the simple way (ok, simpler way) to fix this is to have shop titles be autogenerated by what is being sold. you sell a EMG your shop title is Elven Mithril Glove (or some standard abbreviation).

not that I think they'll ever do that, but that is the only thing that will make this useful.

BS... Server doesn't need to send any Non-interested shop infos... Client/server architecture means - client requests, server replies with the results... The actual work happens on the server side, no traffic involved at all...

About current feature I have just the same feeling - cheap implementation, no brains involved.
This was suggested a looooong time ago, to no avail. The best you can do is wait for C5 and pray.
