Ok, seriously, weird post. I want to say that it's grossly misinformed and poorly formatted, but I keep having this sneaking suspicion that it's a subtle political commentary...

This game does not have a marriage system at all, so nobody cares what race/class/gender your little fling is, you're not getting an official marriage. They don't exist.
Formal wear exists, so feel free to gather your friends and put on your own little clan ceremony.
There is currently no in-game system or feature for getting married; the Formal Wear serves a "role-playing" purpose only. Players are free to marry any partner of their choice, regardless of the character race.
You could marry your SLS if nobody picked it up for the duration of the ceremony (or you could marry it while it's in your inventory) if you so choose.
I do know it, I was just referring to Mistryls post where he stated that marriage is ok regardless of race. BUT, did not say anything about gender :cool:
Actually, Mistryl didnt say hither or night about same sex marraiges. You shouldn't put your words in other peole's mouths. But I'd like to say that over 90% of the people living today dont believe in same sex marriages. Keep your opinions to yourself and dont force it down other people's throats. If you wanna marry then role-play it. Dont make this into a game about real life politics and dont force your agenda down other peoples throats who dont have the same opinion. You have role-play. Use it.
Seriously though...if your that upset bout not being able to marry a dark elf while being a human on a videogame..obviously you either need to go out and catch some sunlight or meet more people of the opposite sex. I don't mean to be rude in any way...but theres a lot of other things to enjoy about this game then whom you wanna marry in-game.
Ahem, Mistryl did not say that it's ok or that it was wrong, I just made a small silly question if it would be Bad Bad -with an added smily at the end. But it seems that some people here cant even understand simple word plays and are too stiff and prejudiced and also too eager to jump on others and bludgeon them to death with their own personal views.
Over 90% you say? Where'd you pull those figures off? Many countries have legalized same sex marriages in real life, and mind you, this had nothing to do with real life untill you brought it up. I'm not forcing any agenda, you on the other hand seem to be.
And you need to take some reading lessons. I'm not the author of the thread, I have no problems with the current "marriage" system in the game. And about my real life, I get plenty of sun thank you, when it's not winter. I dont know about you but during winter people usually tend to stay inside most of the time if they live in a country where the temperature can go as low as -50 Celsius during very harsh winters.
