Ok I did this quest. I went out and killed 100 fettered souls came back and got the 4 ice lures. He said to go and catch a small yellow treasure chest. Went out fished and caught 4 chest but no small yellow chest. He also says if you don't catch it to check the market.
What I am wonderiong is if he is talking about the player market or if the yellow chest is sold in the NPC shop like the royal coin collector book.
yup. these fishing quessts are tricky. if you max your fishing skills out at the moment you get them, you can't suceed with these quests. you mush have lvl 12-13 fishing for this quest, and lvl 15-16 for the one in Oren.
HOWEVER, the bait he gives you has nothing to do with the quest, really. though it may be harder, you can get the chests he is looking for just by fishing normally. big yellow for the first, purple for the second. just don't convert them, take them unopened to the guy, and he'll give you your prize. (elven ring for the first, pl gloves for the second. not too bad)
