About a week ago i talked to spam about making the system more user friendly.
The way the current system was once a petition was ended that was it now having it linked on support. They can be opened back up if more details became available or if you felt the issue wasn't solved.
That a petition in game should be tied to your support account. So no matter what server you were on or what character, all petitions placed would be accessable from support.
Now i see i have a support ticket of something i've never placed except ingame. If Spam did take my idea and run with it, wow thats a fast turn around.
Anyone else notice game only petitions showing up in your support account?
I haven't petitioned anything for a long time. But I just want to say, that any change, is good change. GJ Splatter, if you had something to do with that :)
I've only got 2 in there (I've petitioned a bunch more than that). The last one was where I got a strange (i.e, not the usual response) from a bot petition. The other was where I *ahem* had to gently remind them exactly how long 72 hours was. :o
Just to clarify the e-mail and in-game petition system is not connected except by the GMs, that use both. In some situations a GM will create a support ticket on your behalf. This will generally be done if you are no longer in game or if an investigations needs to be performed when an in-game petition is already ended. You will see this the most with reimbursment issues.

yes but +++++automate the connection between in game support and petitions like I've been begging for over a year now!

If i remeber right, the petition i placed at that time was reporting some botters. So there would be no reason to create a support ticket. Why it was done i don't know...

I'm still pushing to have the in-game petition system and the support system linked. I think this is a must have.
