I finally got the free ticket to Garin Island! I was saving thisf or when i was level 14. I was looking trhough my inventory, and accidentaly right clicked it. Off I go to Garin island.
All the venders in the chat drove me insane, i didnt know what to do. I talked to the gatemaster, and paied 6400 to go to Garin Harbor, because i was told tickets to talking isladn from Garin harbor are 2,000. I only had 9000, and -6400 when i went ot garin harbor. I had then 2600. Perfect, right?
I got there, talked to the ticket seller, and the tickets costed 10400 to go to talking island. I went ballistic.
I finally begged people for money until i got enough for a ticket.
I bought a ticket, and got ont he boat! YES!!
I was almost there, 5 more minutes till i get to talking island!
Game crashed.
Back to the harbor i go.
Now what? Beg for more money? Cry?
I think this should be protected on. I think there should be a way to cancel when youa ccidentaly clicked something (fixing the accidentaly right lcicking my teleportation thing in my inventory), and it should be protected so if your game crashes on the boat, you still have the ticket.
Well, i need to go beg for more money. What are your opinions on this issue?
Sounds to me that you were doing the newbie quest that gives a SoE Town: Giran as a reward. To return back to your starter town, you should have talked to Trader Galladucci in Giran to activate another quest that would have ported you back free of charge. All this information is available on the site too.
well get this lol i was on the boat for 5 mins and i fell out of it lol after saving for hours and hours and trust me you get a worser feeling from falling out of the god dam boat then ur game crashing. btw i didnt fall out of it from walking off the sides i fell out becuase of something weird some how i manage to get behind the wall of the rear of the boat and that was scary becuase i thought my charecter would get stuck there :( so i was frantically clicking evrywhere trying to get out of the god dam wall lol and i did !!! But to my own demise i was 5 minutes out to sea and ended up in the middle of nowhere i couldnt see a island at all and i wasnt willing to loose exp from dying becuase i thought it would only take 5 mins to swim back but to my suprise it took 20 mins lol and i used about 7 health pots to swim back to talking islands.
I doubt this will ever happen again, but if you have accidentally activated an SOE, you can click on your name in the top left corner, and click escape on your keyboard. That will cancel your SOE.
