i hear that it doesnt matter what grade bait you use (beginner up to high grade) as to what kind of fish you catch. this seems a little weird since its a lot harder to catch them using anything other than beginner. any truth to it?
I've been getting the same things using different bait. The only difference to grades I can tell is, that it takes longer to get a bite with low grade than it does using high grade. Please feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong. This is just my own observation. And fish seem to bite the same, regardless what bait you use, and where.
Beginner baits only give you "fish for beginners" that has worse "loot" than the normal fish. Also, the color of the fish does affect the type of fish you catch, but not by a significant amount. Grade of the lure cuts the time it takes from using the skill to getting a bite, and thus makes fishing faster :)
As a rule of thumb for fishing: Pump when the blue bar does not move, Reel when it moves. I land around 98% of all the fish that take the bait, easy fishing ^^
and 1 thing more:
low fish expertise: jade fishes
lvl 8 expertise: blue fishes
lvl 11 expertise: yellow fishes
lvl 14 expertise: orange fishes
lvl 17 expertise: don't know yet
lvl 20 expertise: red fishes
lvl 23 expertise: white fishes
higher expertise: black fishes
still if u are lvl 12 expertise u will catch medium and top yellow fishes and low orange fishes
