I am doing the quest entitled " Let's become a Royal Member." I am almost finished and am supposed to find Fallen Chietan Vegus to obtain a clover coin to trade for the royal coin album. Vegus is supposed to be in Forsaken Plains I have searched and hunted killing all manner of Fallen Orcs and covering all of Forsaken Plains to no avail. If anyone has a clue please share.
hmmm. sounds like quest changed in C4... anyway. I saw the guy and was wondering what he's used for.
He was in that largest valley with Shamans, Tigers and Captains in it.
I'm doing the same quest and actually at the same point you are, trying to find that orc.
Funny that I came to work and saw your post on the same thing I was having trouble. heh.
Anyways, if the information is correct, Trader Sandra said that Orc appears in Forsaken Plains only 3 times per day. Guess I'll be looking all day for him tomorow
Which makes me wonder if there are any AFK botters they may kill him themselves :eek:
Teleport to the forsaken plains, travel south to the large pit. You will find him there. However, when I did the royal CC quest, I didn't need him. I went south a little further and killed some ancient gargoyles and got the same item.
Ya you don't need to find that guy. Can't remember exactly, but one of the mobs there gives it to you. The worst is to come...waiting for the book to become availabe. Good luck.

PavlovsDog said it was the Ancient Gargoyles, and Stratics agrees. They are in the Forsaken Plains, and are one of the most intriguing mob images. If you can, rotate your view to get a close up of the mob. It looks like flames are slowly circulating on his body and wings.
I think a few are confuse regarding the parts in this quest, I just complete it last night and here how it work. you need the coin and the book, the coin are on Ancient Gargoyles. The book is the harder parts. Jewerly Sandra sell the book randomly through out the day. You will see it listed when you look to buy normal jewery, if you have bad luck and cannot see the book for sale and cannot wait, you can ask her to do a quest which require you to go kill the fallen orc vagas npc he only appear 3 time a day randomly and has a few protector. I took the quest and kill fallen orc Vagas and got coin drop and went back to Sandra to trade it for the book (select quest to trade), after I got the book I look at the jewery she was selling to buy it for my alt and the darn book is listed now for sale. A friend of my keep checking every hour and he got was able to buy the book even through he accepted her quest to kill the mobs for coin-trade book quest but have not find/kill the mobs. It all depend on luck...
Try relogging; sometimes quest items just wont drop, but if you relog they could start dropping fast or again not dropping. I was hunting Wasps for two days to get royal jelly to no avail, then the next day I crash, relog, and got all ten jellys in one go.
