So the server status page on lineage2.com and from the login screen both says Bartz is down (login says 9999 ping as well). I can't log in to Bartz right now (says access failed). However, the server is actually up (people are logged in and playing right now). What's the deal? ++++fix login server T.T
The ping rates your connection to a server. If it is down for you and not others, it isn't a problem with the server... it's a problem with your connection to it.
yay, but mostly if there stands "down" it is "down"....
I think u have to have a very high ping to "show" it as down only for you....
or what other reasons does it give :confused:
Oh yeah... I forgot to mention another thing about ping.
Ping rates the latency... meaning the time it takes to send and receive information. The higher the ping, the longer it took to do it... meaning the slower your connection is.
Well routing errors is very common on internet ^^ not much more to say then that.
The server status according to lineage2.com was that Bartz was down. And it wasn't just me that had the issue, it was someone from another country as well. I had been logged in, logged out and then got the message that the server was down. So whatever was going on was quite odd, but I don't think it was a routing issue.
