Chronicles of Bishop Tadu: Udat's Big Adventure

Bishop Tadu had raised little Udat from when he hatched and had looked after him well, always providing him with food and keeping him healthy as he grew. Udat grew slowly at first until recently he began to show some aptitude for magic spells. Tadu encouraged young Udat to practice his new skills and in almost no time at all Udat was blasting monsters with powerful spells.

One day Udat seemed to become very restless and would not do as Tadu asked. Tadu was concerned for his well being and took Udat to see the Fairy Mymyu who had advised him initially on raising Udat.

The Fairy informed Tadu that Udat was restless because it was time for him to mature. The Fairy instructed Tadu to find four scared trees and to let udat drink some of the sap from each tree. Tadu headed off to the valleys and hills south of Hunters Village in search of these mysterious trees. Eventually he found them, guarded by dangerous spirits.

Tadu sent Udat in to feed on the sap while he kept the guards busy.

Once Udat's restless hunger was sated, Tadu returned to the Fairy Mymyu.

Mymyu cast some powerful magics and before his very eyes Udat grew at least 4 or 5 times in size! Tadu was quite fearful of the size and strength that Udat now had.

However Udat was the same affectionate pet he had always been and he even allowed Tadu to mount him. Tadu was greatly impressed by the speed that Udat carried him at as they headed off into the sunset.

is leveling a strider still as hard as c3?

I haven't found it to be. The Beast SS makes a difference BUT you must now add that to the expense of feeding and potions. Oh, and gear still is a must, esp. since Star's no longer get the uber HP. *sigh* But their holy-based "nuke" is rather nice.

Overall i think the leveling of the Wind and Star will be a bit easier because of the stuff I mention above. Twilights remain the fastest levelers but they are only scaly taxis. :)

Lvling a strider is definately easier in c4 because of the beast shots, but it is expensive using them as the kills they make is no where near covering the cost of spamming.

I'm planning another couple of chronicles in the next month or two, so watch this space. :)
