I've been playing MMORPGs for a long time now... since about 1998. I enjoy role-playing among everything else, and I kind of feel lost without having other role players around me. I just started playing this game today, and so far it doesn't look very promising for role-playing. Everybody has "l33t" names, and that is never a good sign for role players.
I love the game, the way it looks, and the gameplay. I haven't even learned how to do everything yet, only combat so far. But it seems like a great game.
Could anybody please point me in the right direction to getting my characters started, and for finding a good group of role players that I can socialize with? Maybe even people to hunt with, or other activities that might be available in the game... as I said, I just started, and I don't know what all is available.
There are RP'ers out there, its just hard to find them when you are still in the lower, less populated areas. Have hope, there are much more populated areas when you get to higher levels. Also, I have never been one to steer people away from Gustin, but I believe the Lionna server may be the home of many RP'ers. You may want to check their boards since it would be much easier to switch if needed before you invest a large amount of time here. Anyone else have any info?
