Does this game have options like every normal game.Keyboard options?So i can modifie keys to my desire.
If this game dont have this option(i cant find it) than this game for me is unplayable couse the movement is so lame that is just unbeliveable.Its just unbeliveable that I cant assign my keys to whatever actions I want.And for god sake its an mmorpg game.
Im just very disapointed and frustrating couse i pay 39$ for a game that have like 0 degree of flexibility.
If this game have keyboards options than I pull all that back.
No keymapping of any shape or form exists for L2. You can't even change the size or position of your chat bar, I agree it is pretty lame but I put up with it anyway.

dude seriously if you can't handle a simple interface change you probably wouldn't have been able to handle the grind or PVP. Go try WoW or another game more your speed.

well, you can't completely customize your keys, but you can go to system->options->game->then check enter chat. That will give you wasd keys for movement, and the 1-9 keys (maybe up to +) for your hotbar shortcuts.
It takes some getting used to. I hated it at first too, but it didn't take long, untill I didn't want to have it any other way.

Dude play for a while you will get use to it and there are ways to work around it. All u will use 95% of the time is a mouse and 12 hotkeys along the top. It simple.

I agree to an extent...it would be nice to have a little better control over the game without being required to use the mouse. I know a few FFXI'ers out there that would be hoplessly lost with L2 because the controls are so different.
But mostly not needing a mouse would be nice when playing in class, so its not entirely obvious that you're playing a game :P

99% of players use numbers/function keys for the skills anyway (Or are you gonna tell us you cant memorise the keys to open those different stats windows...?), the rest are just some freaks who want to show off with pagelong forum-threads about the most efficient keyboard-layout. In that case, play wow.
my friend got the game...played it for 1 hour and stoped because of how the keys were setup..he came from EQ...and he hasn't come bacK :(

Yeah...I had a friend from WoW who played about 2 hours total then quit and won't come back. But he also can't handle the possibility of losing stuff and being PKed. He never was, it was just the thought of it that drove him nuts.
Edit: One other thing..you CAN move the bars around and put things other places. The only thing you can't move is the System messages box. With C4 you can move the chat by clicking and dragging (you click and hold on the 'tab'). You can't remap keys and the interface doesn't allow all the fancy mods and skinning you can do in other games, but it works. :)

I think the op was talking about using w a s d for movement instead of clicking to go places. I came from wow 5 weeks ago too and I hated it at first, but now I'm just use to it and actually think L2 is ALOT better then wow now...hard to say that...lol
Anyways, ye I do wish I could use w a s d to move but oh well, clicking will have to do for now.
you can doesnt always mean you should though, moving without the mouse in L2 (arrow keys or wasd) limits your character more than it should... the skiing effect was lessened a little, but theres still no way i would use them to play, dont see how anyone can.

You have to remember that this game is not a Western game. It is designed for a specific market. They prefer the mouse movement over in the eastern market. So much so that when they made EQ2 available they over there they added mouse movement along with completely different character customization to appeal to their eastern players.
Essentially what we have here is a korean game translated into English.
