Since i am approaching my B-grade i have started thinking about the setup i am gonna use...
My thoughts are : BW Robes because of Mp bonus and WiT Bonus... That leaves us with Int(m.att) reduced by 2 points, and Mentality(m.def and what else ?? :/) reduced by 1 point. WIT(casting speed) is increaased by 3 points and ofcourse we have an MP Regen of 5% as well...
So that leaves as.... Int:29, Str:27, Con:31, Men:41, Dex:24, Wit:18....
All this sounds good for now...But what about Dyes??? Do we increase Wit as well? But if we do that then we will greatly decrease our Men !
Should i be extreme and go for a +3Wit-3Men, +2Wit-2Men, +4Con-4Str?? This way we reach the very base stat of an Elf's Wit :23... But at the same time we have decreased our Men by 6 points droping it to 36...
One of my main worries is MP and MP regen... I want to have lots of Mp and i want it to recharge fast..I am not so worried about Casting to be honest cause for casting we can get Acumen... use shots etc...
If i wanted to greatly increase my Mana and Mana Regen which Stat should i increase? But if i did that how much would the casting drop?? This class is a pain in the [censored] if u ask me and i havent stopped thinking of the setups i could go for since the daa i started playing him... I am loving it,dont get me wrong!Afterall thats what so exciting about us ,that we are so versatile and we can all play in different ways
Well anyways, I am waiting for hints,tips, the setup u guys are using and how they suit u so far, things u would like to change etc.
I used full plate till 52, at 52 I switched to doom heavy and wore that until 55 where I finally switched to avadon robes. It was like a totally new character after I did that. For my A grade I am piece by piece buying dark crystal robes. I have decided to stick with robes, the casting speed boost and the boost to mp are a big help.
As to dyes, I can't get a good answer from anyone, since the character can be played so many different ways, so I have so far not touched any stats.
Like Popper, I did the exactly same thing for my sets and at the same levels as well. I did, however, decide to go with bw robes i lieu of avadon. I also got tats of +4wit/-men, and +4con/-str. I cast fairly fast as a result. I found the robes alow me to go nonstop self buffed if need be hunting whites and below.

One other thought i had.... Why try to increase something that is low (wit) and instead just raise something ur really good at (men). With +5 Men OL would have like 47 Mentality in total which means serious Mana and serious Mana Regen.Along with BW Robes +5% Mana Regen and +2 Wit it should do the job.... What r ur thought on this one??

My biggest concern is the weapon at this point.

Well for a few reasons, 1) its cheaper 2) I got it for free 3) I like the casting speed boost 4)I like the pdef boost.
I like to fight a lot so the pdef boost is great, with soul guard and fully buffed I can have 1100 pdef currently, which is crazy in robes, even if it is for a short while, it helps a lot at times. :)
