Seven Signs Fix

Okay, Im in an alliance on Hindemith that was very instrumental in pulling off a Dusk win. The problem that came about this last cycle was when it became evident that Dusk was gonna win with seals of Avarice and Strife, the Dawn players signed all their alts up for Dusk in mass to manipulate the seal scores. At one point they had all the seals below 35%, but luckily we were able to get Avarice back above 35 in the closing minutes. What needs to happen here is that once a person chooses a side with one of their toons, none of their toons can participate for the other side. People will not be able to manipulate the other sides seals, or sabotage their festivals and the outcome will have greater consequences for them as they will not have an alt ready to go into the cats/necros to get the items they need. And I still want to see a higher buy in fee for non-castle owners to go Dawn (at least 500k) if they are allowed at all.
Well, I agree it is cheesy for people to try to "fix" things like that...

I have a question on how this works. I'm a newb, so I signed up for the "Dusk" side (level 25) and I started killing in some necropolis and got some red and blue seals.

Now, are these only useful if Dusk wins? And it seems Dusk doesn't win often...?

How does one see the "score" anyways >:D.

If one side never wins, what's the point of the thing? Everyone would always sign up Dawn and that's that right?

There are two main scores in seven signs competition. Seal Stones and Festivals. The Festivals in general will decide the competition. For instance - Dawn had like 450 points for seal stones being turned in compared to Dusk's 82. Dusk won all the festivals and won the competition easily on Hindemith.

Now don't fret if you find yourself on the losing side. Your seal stone contributions get forwarded to the next cycle. Thus is you sign up for Dusk and lose for months, then Dusk wins somewhere down the line (with you signed up for Dusk) you get the Ancient Adena for all those weeks of contributing to Dusk when Dusk didn't win.

To see the score, but a record of the seven signs from a dusk or dawn priest/priestess.

There are alot of sellouts who sign up for Dawn even though they don't own castles. THey are afraid that Dusk will not win. On Hindemith we've shown that Dusk can win even if 85% of the server is signed up for Dawn.
Well, considering the fact that a castle lord can produce dawn certificates from his castle even if they raised the fee at the priest to 10000mil it wouldnt matter since 1 certificate costs 1k to manufacture. And, every clan member that has rights given by the lord can make them. 300 per event period. 1 castle can thus produce 12k Dawn certificates in a week if the clan is full. Now multiply that with all the castles and you got a whoopy pile of certificates right there ;) and thats just 1 event period.
Val.. I remember a Divine dwarf blocking the signup for the no limit festival with just an hour or 2 left in the festivals the first time that you guys went Dusk. (He'd sign in, go inside, and die.. Thus blocking any actual Dawn team from competing.)

Make suggestions for all the flaws please

Like.. maybe being able to sign up in advance, instead of just right at the moment when it begins.
I also posted this on Hinde Silver where I did specifically mention that we did that. I don't deny it. But I also am suggesting that that option should not be made availible either. It's what I meant by people should not be able to sabotage festivals.

However, I can not think of anything you can feasibly do to limit a two boxed alt.
