Nick in Blue and Recommendations

How many recommendations do you need to "be awarded" in order to get you name change to blue.

I know it starts as light blue and then into dark blue....but this process start at how many?

And I´ve heard that 250 recs is the max right?...

Is there a way I loose recommendations that I have been awarded?

it's a gradual gradient change but i think at about 50 or so you will start to notice it:)
