GMSpam and Mistryl,
I suggest this being brought up on your Monday meeting and discussed. You have assured us that events like this is always being monitored by GM's and in this case something failed. People kept disconnecting and once they logged back in (usually within 1-2 minutes) they found themselves in the nearest town.
The rules state:
When restarting at the Lair of Valakas or the Hall of Flames after a server returns to service, if a player fails to log in within 30 minutes, the character will be transported to the nearest town upon reconnection.
1. So, what happened here? Obviously there is a major bug somewhere as the above rule did not apply!
2. Where were all the GM's that supposedly monitor all these events?
3. People worked their butts of and lost 15% +++ percentage points. I can assure you that loosing this at level 76+ is a MAJOR time loss in trying to XP that amount back. How will you deal with this?
4. All the time that was lost upon this can not be given back but some kind of symbolic gesture would be much appreciated and at least, an explanation to WHY you did not have ANYONE available to help us during this event. Shame on you.
I hope Mistryl or GMSpam will address this in someway as it was a major disaster.
