I'll tell ya folks. I've seen many o' fish around these parts, I've fished from talking Island to the Goddard hotsprings, and there ain't no more noble fish than the orange ones.
The small ones, when you gut them, give ya double low level mats. My wife likes the Ugly for the scales. My other wife likes the fat ones, for the bones. I personally enjoy the nimbles ones, for their very high conversion rate and chance to get 2 fish gems per catch.
By the way, my wifes crafts potions, while my other wife crafts dyes. I'm where the big money is, in the fish gems.
But Ahhhhhhh, the noblesse comes from diversity. And the Orange fish distinguishes itself it that perticular field. You see, the small orange set of fish will yeild you the lower level mats, while the orange and Big orange sets will give you the higher level mats (Shinny stuff).

More cheating. You see, when you get the message that fish is bitting your line, you can make your move right away.
It's basically a crap shoot, but I get good results will a pull with no SS. If it succeeds, and usually does, I know the fish is idle and should be ready to pull again. If I fail, it means the fish in pulling, and most probably will be when the blue bar appears, so I hit the SS button and reel.
This gives you a jump start on your fish, and keeps fishing exciting...
