I have yet to have a firm confirmation on these boards or anywhere else, so I was hoping I could get user info AND GM info about this.
Do dual core CPUs bug out in Lineage ][? I've read about it online and the only forum post I could find anywhere was from a while back, did NCSoft get this fixed? I'm upgrading my computer in a few months, and as I've planned it out right now I'd get much better performance from the Dual CPU. Not only from current games getting released, but future OSs and programs will utilize it. It'd suck if I bought a computer that bugged out in L2 when one of the reasons I need a new computer is so I can play Lineage without the absolute basic settings, just in case my card would bug out in pvp or something.
Also, will there be or is there a setting relating to Dual SLI support? I'd love to just crank out full performance on Lineage ][ and finally know that if anything happens in L2, it's not my computers fault.
As I said, I'd love user input but I'd also love to hear something official about it.

What specific bug you are referring on?
I'm using dual core athlon processor and have no issues I can classify as dual-core specific. I'm using AGP card, though.

I'd not say SLI worth the money and efforts here. You can play LA2 on previous video cards generation and it will be ok in pre-best graphics settings. But there is no configuration that will support fully featured graphics in massive sieges.
With a single 7800GT you'll have more than enough performance for everything, but raids and sieges. But for sure you'll have to reduce graphics settings (lighing and reflections mostly) for those two things.
