I just got the game, downloaded the lineage 4 from fileplanet also installed it.. I have been updating for over 2 hours and the little overall progess bar has barely moved. Is there some other way to update this because I think it would take days like this. Tnx in advance for help
Theres alot of content you need, just stick with it, took me like 6 hours on a slow day. When you get past the first few big files, the little ones will fly past increasing overall progress bar instantly.
Later, the oweral bar will move faster, most of the way, and then go back to slow..
Just b ehappy that you dont experience crashesh every 30-40 minutes....
Can you just download c4 patch and install that way? even with the wait of like 40 minutes and the download time over broadband I think it might be quicker even at 70%.
As long as that is the only patch I would have to install~
Nah its a fresh install from the very first release L2 ever had, Im oldschool , so basically C1 to C4 , just wondering if the " c4 install patch " would mean all neccessary files updated from c1 - c4.
the only option would be to download the C4 client but with it being 2.4 gigs and your already at 70%.... I would just let the patcher run it's course. To stop now and try the C4 client path would be setting you back at least 2 days.
I started the patcher at like 1pm and its 7pm now, so 30% should be another 2 hours~ish meh, ill wait.
Well the L2 FTP servers are overloaded so trying to grab a spot there isn't so easy. I did the fileplanet download because of that and i got capped so it took me 5 hours on a 1 meg dsl connection to download it.
