Cannot login and the lineage 2 download is down. - Retail Forum Archives

I have the cd for the game but I had lost it so i bought the game online. Ive been playing this game for about a year now and recently reformatted. Now I cannot download c4 because the download section is down. But I found the cd and installed and updated. now when I try to login nothing happens. I typed my password and username in correctly I know this because I have tried 100 times and nothing happens, what should I do?

First question.... Is the game updated? Run the updater one more time and do a full file check.

did it twice :). When I type in my account after nothing happens :(. I even disabled my fire wall and deleted the game guard folder......

Are you going to go the route of downloading C4 from file planet or try to get the updater working?

I downloaded from file planet. Disabled firewall, deleted game guard folder even though it probably wasnt necessary and ran the file check. yet still the same problem :(.

I am so confused! I tried everything they said in the post above and still nothing :(. I dont know what to do, this has never happened before and I have reformatted plenty of times.

its an amd dual graphics sli motherboard. Im hardwired cable modem. no router nothing.

What happens when you type in a wrong password?

same thing. If I type in the correct password nothing happens. If I type the wrong password nothing happens. So to explain it in short.....nothing happens.

2 days ago. then reformatted yesterday and couldnt play today.

Turn the firewall back on... and make sure LineageII.exe and L2.exe is added to your firewall list.

You don't have any other form of firewall program installed do you?

nope, only windows. Ill try that now once l2 is done updating agian. I figured I would reinstall again just too see. ill let you know asap.

and once again nothing........Dont know what to tell you. Im pretty sure its the game and not my comp but I dont know. Im gonna deactivate my account though untill the issue is fixed. No point in paying to play when your not able to play.

oh and by the way it says please insert Id whenever I type anything in to login if this helps with the issue.
