pentaly fro wearing higher grade items ?

i noticed when i put b grade items on my 32 level toon that i got all the stats from it but at top it said i get a lvl 1 pentatly for it being to high grade what is the actually pentalty ?

just not worth it ^^

slows your run speed and your attack speed, I think it also slows your cast speed for armor and accesories.

reduces accuracy and increases spell failure for weapons.

mind you, it is possible (and even desirable for some) to have a sub-20 char use a d grade (or higher) blunt and do fairly well.

one thing worth noting that hasnt been mentioned: SA's will NOT work on pre-40 characters... so a crystal staff with mana up for your level 20 artisan is less of a smart investment than it might seem, same goes with other SA's as well :P

if you are a mage you can still sleep and dot perfectly with out of grade weapon
