Straight to the point ..... Add the CP Bar to the log in (character selection) screen for obvious reasons. The addition of being able to see your party members CP bars is great during sieges/war/pvp, but I feel being that you can view your HP/MP/karma/experience on the log in (character selection) screen, it should include the CP bar as well.
I don't understand why would you want to see your cp on the char selecting screen? NC better try to fix the real errors out there instead of wasting time on this.
some players are less than considerate if your in a clan war and they happen to know where you logged, or if you d/c in a pvp fight :P having a little CP or not could mean life or death for your character while they beat on him till you finish loading.
If you have to see the status of your CP bar to decide if you want to log in, then it is irrelevant. By the time your screen loads, if the people you forcelogged from are still vulturing your log spot. it won't matter if your cp bar was full, halfway etc.
Unless MAYBE you are griefing the lowest levels of noobdom. And in that case, I certainly don't want you getting additional tools toward that endeavor.
The same argument could be made towards HP...why would seeing your HP be important if you're just logging in? You didn't leave yourself in any danger, did you?
The point is, regardless of what it's used for, it's a stat similar to the other stats provided. Seeing CP on login would be nice.
Well I agree with you Glav except that CP only matters in pvp, whereas hp matters in both pvp and pve.
But I digress.
I didn't /unsign the suggestion, just raised a point of my own. Want to show CP bar? I can live with that. However if we are making the To Do List, I'd like to see character location prioritized over CP bar.
The electricity in my house goes out a few times a day, and I have been in the middle of PvP/War during those times, it would be nice to know if I was logging in with full or 0 CP sometimes. I do see and comprehend the points that others have made on this thread.

Buy a UPS. They're cheap (I have 2 for my computer).
No offense, but if the lectricity is going out in your house several times a day, CP status in L2 should be very low on your priority list.
And, I would make a wild guess that your particular situation is not shared by, say, a majority of the user base. And if that is the case, I can't sign on to a change that affects the entire user base due to the electrical issues you are experiencing at home.
That said, I can appreciate the alternative reasoning to support the initiative... but it doesn't make or break the suggestion for me.
