Just saying 'hello' to players on Sieg. I'm a total newbie to Lineage II, though I've played a few other MMOs... and I really enjoy this game. Hope to see you guys around, I'll be playing consistantly until September.
You will find the seighardt forum quite dead, but dont let that reflect Seighardt as a whole.
My Theory on this is that a seighardts players actions are LOUDER then his words. Keep this mind in your travels.
Advice? Easy!
Do as many starting quests as possible, most of them are repeatable, and will do you good to get extra money while you grind levels.
Use the Novice Helper, and the cat queen. They both have great stuff for new players.
Run as much as you can, dont use costly teleports, and try not to spam soulshots too much.
Last thing, never EVER trade someone your items unless you are okay with losing it forever.

Swords High Alosera!
Welcome to L2, Sieghardt server and the forums.
Most of the sound advice has already been given, however, just a few more quick notes:
1) Never give your gear to anyone if you need to get it back. There are scammers and some can generate names easily mistaken for friends... and friends made in-game are as reliable as they are able to be reached outside the game.
2) Always check prices. Once you are sure, double check that the item you THINK you are buying is the actual item in the trade/buy screen. Then triple check the price versus quantity. Do this every time, especially when in a rush.
3) You (in most cases) will either grind for xp/levels OR for adena/profit. They rarely are able to be done at the same time. Mobs that give best xp usually require shots, heal pots etc. Mobs that don't need those things usually give poor xp. Balance your game and don't expect to be able to buy the top next grade gear at the same level that you hit that grade level.
