sealed and unsealed armor

what is the purpose of unsealed and sealed armor? I'm hitting b grade tonight and am curious as to what each one does. please give details as this is my first char in b grade.
Sealed means you won't get the set bonus for whatever set it is you are going for. You have to unseal the armor, (boots, gloves) to a proper set. Like if you have blue wolf heavy armor your boots and gloves must be unsealed to heavy.
Sealing and unsealing B-grade armor parts can be done at the Town NPC Blacksmiths for no fee. A-grade and S-grade unsealing is done at the Blacksmith of Mammon for a fee in AA.

When the item is sealed it confers no set bonuses and is generic all around item, but when you unseal it you choose if it's heavy, light or robe and thus part of the different sets. If you unseal, say boots, to robe and are using a heavy set, you wont get a set bonus.
okay thanks alot.
