Replay Get better!

The New Replay feature is great but It should appear as a normal movie file in ur LineageII Folder! For movie editing. It is a lot more fun to edit a movie and post on web then to invite ur friends home to watch it at login menu! Whats that about. Get it to record in Normal Movie format please. Would be fun lots of cool movies. Fraps lags the hell out of my game but ingame recorder is lag free!

You can share the replay file with other L2 players too. Any C4 client can play it, you just need to put it into the right folder. It does not appear as a normal movie file as it is not a movie file. It is a file that tells your client where the character was hunting, what he was wearing, doing etc. It emulates the happenings using your Client so basically it's just a string of orders for the Client.

Fraps > replay since fraps show tags/names etc but I'd really like to have them on the replay function too :) As it is now, replay is a poor mans fraps that produces only nice looking vids without any feel since taking a replay from a mass fight only shows lots of ppl battling, no tags, no names >.<

The point of the replays is to make it so you can see the action again at your own leisure.

If you want to record a movie, get a fraps program. :)

Yeah the Replay function is good as it is, thoght it have a few bad points, speialy that it does not show names........... nor does it work fully, eg chat window function still broken... WTF was the test server for??? Probobly nothing, also your own pet/summon does not show and things like that.

Get fraps. It would sorta defeat the main benefit of a replay, which is very small file size, and being able to repan the camera if you were able to record to a normal format. It has its flaws but I like it a lot so far.

yup, neat thing, really. not really useful in any meaningful way yet, but it does have potentional. they clean up the bugs, and give us the ability to see names, it'll beat the unholy hell out of fraps for anything EXCEPT video editing many sessions into one big movie.

CBA to read wether its allready been said. But adding a Play, Pause, Fast Forward ect ect ect to the Replay option seems a decent idea. Again, not sure wether its been said or not.

Then why can you read all of the chat (shout, general, alliance, party, even pm) when you log on to the game after watching a replay?

weird... makes no real sense, and it is not as if everybody else on this planet has access to the replays I store on my hard disk unless I personally upload them somewhere...

I like that you can pause it, but it would be really nice if you could pause it AND still pan the camera.
