"Yay!" I thought as I had just turned level 20 and completed the scavenger quest. Eager to get many new scavenger skills that will make me rich, I visit the skill trainer.. "What?! lvl 2 soil.." That's all there was in terms of scavenger skills.

Anyone wanna clue me in on the make money fast, lvl faster(how??) part of the scavenger deal? Or maybe the sites gave me false information... anywho this sucks. =/
scav is the worst soloer ever ingame..

healers can solo better at lower lvls

and yes.. dorfs are the class with fewest skills...

and.. u wont be realy useful anymore before ur 70+
Your level of spoil will advance as you advance. All you need is for your spoil to 'activate' on the mob. After that, whether the mob turns blue (and gives items upon sweeping) is a matter of chance, the same chance no matter what level of spoil you used to 'activate.'

To make money as a scavenger, you need to do a little market research. Look at the private stores on your server, and determine which material is fetching the highest price.

On most servers now, suede is a hot item (1500a to 2500a on my server.) It won't be for a long time, just until most folks finish crafting their formal wear. But right, now, I'd suggest spoiling mobs that give suede. If you are on the mainland, I would nominate the Arachnid Predator (lvl 20, poisons you, so carry antidotes,) the Dark Succubus (lvl 20, these are very popular for automatic-players, so you may have trouble hunting them,) and the Ruin Imp Elder (lvl 21.) The spider and the imp are aggro, and I think the succubii are too.

You can do seeds on the mobs while spoiling, to increase your return. As always, selling your crops may be a problem, but it seems easier now with the multi-town options at each Manor Manager.
you did get the bleed skill :P

and i dont think artisans have it much better what they get is lvl 2 craft
which means they can craft dss dbsps and dsps
not exacxtly large money makers compared to spoil
