Observe this (http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/5785/crops15to.jpg) screenshot of me making a feeble attempt at handing in Chilly Cobols. Chillies hand back steel and bones, and are quite the $$$-maker on Gustin. Although popular, they aren't overly manored or even botted very often.
For the past 3 weeks I have gotten up at 11:00 PM EST most evenings to hand in my seeds, like I always have. But the screenshot that you see is always the same result. Its like chillies are completely incapable of refreshing at manor reset. I can buy all the chillies I want, oh sure, but I can't sell back my crops. Its like some bot hands in, every day, exactly the # of crops I want to hand in. But I haven't seen any bots at manor reset time, regardless of whether it was Innadril, Oren, Gludio, or Giran. And in C3 places like Innadril were packed with farmers--they would hand in their seeds seconds after manor reset, and then BSOE in hopes of getting a closer location to the GK, who they would then run up to, teleport to the next closest town and hand in a different type of seed there.
Are they beating me? Is this invisible farmer force simply clicking faster than me? At least in C3, you could actually see the #s of crops being handed in seconds after manor reset as long as you refreshed the window, but in this case, no matter how many times I clicked "Tally up inde. product" I simply get this same window with zero-zero-etc.
What am I missing? Is there some button I'm forgetting to press? Are the castle lords giving me this difficulty? Is anyone else having trouble handing in seeds in C4?
So I've had a bit of trouble with the Manor system too. I just started using it in C4 though so I can't comment on how it worked in C3.
Like you, I thought the system reset at 11:00pm EST, but I would find that the buyback had already been filled everytime I went to sell back! I started checking the manor system at different hours to find if it ever reset sooner or later. I found that the system was reseting AN HOUR (10:00 pm EST) earlier than I had thought. I dunno if the time for the servers has been changed, using/not using Daylight savings, or if the reset time is just different now.
Let me know if you find your manor system reset ealier (I'm on Lionna)
Most of the manors on Gustin are up and running. I can speak for Innandril only, since my alliance owns it and I take care of the manor. Someone is definitely turning in Chillies every day at Innandril.
Keep in mind that you can sell back crops to any manor if you pay the 5% tax, so the guy could be standing in Aden selling back crops to Dion and Gludio at the same time.
Also, keep in mind that when you turn in crops you need to remember to make sure you choose the city you want to turn them in at from the drop down. Otherwise you could be turning them in somewhere else by accident.
If that screen appear it means that chilly is already bought in EVERY town that can buy them.If there is a town that still buys it will show as that town but you cant sell right away-you need to select town+how many crops to sell.
Also castle lords now need to raise up the adena value of crops if they want players to sell to them :p I love the new manor system :)
I have the same problem with chilies.. No mater what time I try to buy/sell them it's always empty, but the next week's status shows that they are there..
Should try at 10ppm est today...
Lisail nailed exactly what I was wondering--- who was able to turn in that many crops in just one day in all of the city manors, in a second or less? As of now, bots can't do that-- they'd have to be abusing an extremely complicated macro to click the city tab, and then switch cities that fast and at the same time hand in their chillies. I'll try 10, if that doesn't work I'm spent.
I went to the manor at just before 10 to try and turn in my crops again and surprisingly it was reset even before 10 according to my clock. I'm gonna try a bit earlier (9) to see if that works now. I'll post to let you guys know.
I got my seeds at 9:15 est, now i'm hunting timaks, geting 2 crops per mob, 3k xp, and some blood medusas. i think i will like it there, only now i have downd time like every buff round, partly couse of no SPS..
And there were LOTS of seeds for sale them, so it cood be that they now restock at 9est = 8central.
I'm starting to think they restock at 9:00 est now too since NCSoft decided to switch from using PST to CST on all annoucements, maybe they changed the server times to CST too.
