While on a quest to kill a rare mob (spawns 3-4 times/day), i stumbled upon a very unpleasant thing: the mob spawned, i killed him with my summon out (summon, of course, was the last to hit). And to receive the quest item, i believe, i should have delivered the last hit.
So, NC, tell me, how is summoner supposed to kill a quest mob, if his main weapon is neutralized? Why dont you allow it for summons last hit to be considered as summoners last hit?
There seems to be a change with C4 and quest items in general.
Since C4 I have so far not been able to get 2 quest items from 1 kill (for 2 different quests), which was possible in C3 still.
That said, I know that a Warsmith was big booming dark blue mobs by the dozens and getting lots of sweet fluid (fishing shot quest), so summons (and likely pets) do still get quest items.
I believe, this quest has been updated with C4: to finish Royal coin collectors quest i was requested to kill Fallen Cheftain Vegus and then receive "rare golden clover coin", which i never received.
I have heard (tho not confirmed yet) that the fishing shots quest disables the chance of quest items that are NOT sweet fluid IF this mobs could drop SF. Did you have this quest enabled?
that is pretty much confirmed now. the fishing shot quest interferes with almost any quest that would cause 1 mob to drop 2 quest items.
the only exception is class change quests and a few others.

you can get multiple quest items from one mob, just not at the same time. I did two different quests and one of the mobs was shared in both quests, and so was the SF. Granted it took a bit longer to get all my quest items, but they will all still work.
And I believe you should get the quest item even if your servitor or pet does the last blow. After all they are considered more of an "extension" of yourself. It would be better to address a GM about this problem, because I'm sure they would know a lot better then me.
