What is nerfed in the AOE spells?

I'm using Tempest and flame strike(to finish off the mobs) on the Tenor/Nightmare groups west of Giran.

Untill now I'v been able to zap 12-18 mobs at once(also usually a few are outside range and thus not attacked).

So what is the AOE nerf limit?, is it 20-30 mobs or what?
Is the AOE nerf equally for all AOE spells eg. Tempest, Flame strike, mass sleep, Poison Clous, etc?.

I'v notices that not all mobs get the same amount of damage (compared between the same mobs, eg. Tenor Silenos Shermans). As far as I can see the center mob will always get the most damage, and then the damage decrease with the radius around the center.
The limit is 20 mobs now. You can still AOE fine but no more will you be able to kill 50 or more mobs at one go (now that was AoE fun!).
Also I think that the farther the mob is from the center blast, the less damage it receives.
That was only applied to the big boom damage. I have not seen a change in damage of my aoe's, just the ammount of mobs it can hit. Also if you're an elemental summoner you can still do the 50+ mobs in one shot deal. They purpously left the summoners out of the aoe nerf for some odd reason.

prolly cause if the summon dies so do you

as far as i know only big boom recieved the distance nerf not that it needed it
hint for all summoners out there: have your unsummon button somewhere on your bar. agro does NOT transfer back to the summoner if you unsummon. and there does not seem to be a range issue on unsummoning. this means that if your summon is getting beat on, hit servitor UD and run the other direction. right as you leave agro range, unsummon your srvitor, and agro will not transfer over.
