I can not conect to the server now and was D/Ced from it earlier. Anyone else having this problem?

The servers will be down on Thursday, February 23, between 10:30 AM CST and 11:30 AM CST for a brief maintenance. During this maintenance period, the following changes will be made:

Well, the maintenance was over about 20 minutes ago, the website shows the servers as up but I cannot connect to the update server.
Just sheer weight of traffic or is there a problem with the update server?

Well.. he's not wrong. If you start L2 and hit the start button very quickly you can sometimes get in.

Well.. he's not wrong. If you start L2 and hit the start button very quickly you can sometimes get in.
That may be the case but after a major patch the idea is to connect to the update server and........err..........update your files.
Besides which, I stated that I could not connect to the update server. His advice doesn't help achieve that does it?
Hence the usefullness rating of his comment.

It does get you in though. I am having the same problem connecting to the update server though, tried it at least 10 times :/ What's the deal....

THE ANNOUNCMENT IS IN CST BUT I HAVE A FEELING THE PEOPLE DOING THE MAINT ARE STILL WORKING IN PTS ;)

First off, turn off the **** caps lock... Second, it's PST not PTS

flush your DNS I had same problem after maintenance..worked for me..
run...cmd....type ipconfig/flushdns
at the prompt.

Yep, doing that worked for me
