I recently reactivated my account (yays!) and leveled my warrior from 33 to 35. All the friends I have on my list (from 10 months ago) either quit or are playing on different characters so I decided to try and solo the Trial of the Challenger quest. First two by-basilisk-surrounded-snake-women went quite well, but the third one (Baraham) decided it'd be funny to make her pets encircle me so I couldn't run away after I had pwned her..
Anyways, -6%xp later I was lying on the ground and saw a human npc named Raldo had appeared. Since I didn't have any kind of rezzer with me I returned to Dion. When I came back at the cave Raldo was gone. I killed my dear friend Baraham again (being careful not to be surrounded by basilisks this time), but Raldo did not appear..
Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do to make Raldo appear again? I miss him so much :/

Unless I've completely forgotten everything, I think he only appears at "night". So you may just need to camp there until he appears if your looking for him.

That's wierd I killed Baraham and Raldo appeared rite after and I of course clicked on him and continued the quest. My guess, you will have to restart the quest, not completely sure but that may be the case. I hope not though =/ GL to ya.
Its not a night time based NPC, he should spawn a few moments after baraham disspears. Just log out and in and if still doesnt work after several more attempts then submit a bug report and a GM should help you.
Which server are you on? I have to do this quest and if you are on Erica we could arrange a time where after I kill her and do my part if you are there you could talk to him as well.

I'm not sure that works. I remember doing this on C3 PTS and people were lined up for their turn (right after the boost).

I got lucky today and someone showed up just as I was about to give up.. he killed Baraham and Raldo appeared. I got to the next part. For some unknown reason you need to be lvl 36 for it though, would like to have known that before I spent teleport costs getting to Dorf village -_-

Well, just so you know then.....ALL the 2nd class change quests are like that. You can start them at L35, L37, L39 BUT you need to be L36, L38, L40 to complete them.
