Skills: Resistance Buffs

A few suggestions to increase the usability of resistance buffs.

- Change Song/Dance of xxGuard/Invocation so that it does not "consume MP when singing continuously".
- Move all resistance and surrender buffs to the third bar.
- Increase the effect of resistance.
- Add: Song of Aura Guard, which I think is an obvious one. ;)
Add Class Resistance to blunt, dagger, staff, ect.. make these resistances for both M and P atks => no more Nuker with sword+acu SA eating you in 5 sec if you are resistant to his/her weapon type :=)

Similar to the skill enchant system, make it so that each player can choose with type of weapon he/she wants to be resistant too.

For Tanks/Dwarves only: possibility to be resistant to 2 types of weapons instead of 1.

(yeah, yeah.. I know .. I rule!! :) )
Weapon resistances would hurt melees, who don't need it. If weapon resistances are introduced, it would have to be implemented as a sort of "extra SA" on armour, with certain resistances being unavailable to certain types of armour, and magic attacks being unaffected:

Heavy: Can not resist dagger.
Light: Can not resist blunt.
Robe: Can not be enchanted.

Or something like that. ^^:

If it was done on armor as a SA it should be done more as to what the armor was designed to protect for example leather defends well against slashing and somewhat peircing but has very little effect agaisnt blunt.

Robes which are basically a type of padded armor add cushion blows from blunts but offer little protection against slashing and peircing

Heavy armor which is often plate armor deflects slashing can absord blows and offers fair defense against peircing but that could be a further benifit for tanks they are not limited by wearing heavy
Robes are not padded. They are just cloth - most of them not even layered. They simply don't protect from anything.

(For an example of padded armour, look at Avadon Light.)
Weapon resistance will not necessarilly hurt melees since every classes except tanks and dwarves would only access to 1 weapon type resistance.

This could bring much more diversity into the weapon and SA types currently using: a mage for example would naturally go dagger or Arrow resistance.. it doesn't mean that 2 hand sword, 1 hand sword, blunt melee users would hurt them less. If anything, all the other melee would benefit from this. On the other side, an archer or a dagger resistant to sword will only rebalance his chances vs a nuker using an Acu sword+shield... for the nuker, to do the same dmg, would have to get rid either of the Acu or the shield, using a dagger, 1 hand blunt or using a 2 hand blunt.

I fail to see the bad thing for melee when a resistance to 1 weapon type will make all the other melee.. more effective?

At last, unlike a "limited Weapon Resistance SA" based on the armor type, ppl will not be forced to change their current armor set just to get the Weapon resistance they want. Remember that using a weapon resist SA, you will already "force" ppl to change their weapon: it would be wise to not add a second issue by forcing them to change their armor set.
