I sat down one day and looked at our server, and said to myself? "why don't people pvp more" and the answer would be fear, fear of exp loss, fear of item drops, fear of drama and grief from friends of those they kill. These factors make up a good portion of why I believe after careful study why people don't pvp just a bit more.
Now when I say pvp please don't mistaken it for grief, I mean when an arguement starts, pick up your sword/bow and out right lay waste to the person giving issues, Or when sieging just siege you know? while grief i see it as, you wake up and go hunt weak people in lower villages.
There are alot of alliances that follow under the umbrella of "we wont' start anything but we will finish it" but if everyone follows that belief nothing really happens.
Dying at 70+ even in siege can be deathly painful due to the high experience loss but then the question poses, why do people lvl? alot will say "Well.. i'll pvp when i hit 75 so that way i won't have to worry about being killed by someoen higher lvl" which works for personal pks but when it comes to pvp in mass groups they are bit reserved because the painful grind of 70+.
that was just an opening to my real post, my topic for today is, which CURRENT clan or alliance do you feel has the most PVP spirit or lack there of. I can't stress the word current enough because i know someone stupid is goign to post "reborn" or "mafia" and if they do i'll slap you.

Ahh every alliance and or clan avoids pvp in fear of being zerged from anotehr allaince and friends. Thats why the server is pvp afraid because of loss exp. THe only long term pvp was from KoS, which dissolved, and ahhh RT brief moment and nothing else. You do not see divine, legend, epoch, RT, core etc wage war against each other cause there all lvlings and have been lvling. People are to carebear to start something with each other in fear of being griefed for days so there will be no pvp. Now u will see the core vs 1 or 2 poeople (example) but thats all u will and can expect from thsi server.

as for this server and pvp, we all know what happens when a pvp clan arises. might as well call this the 'Relax Server'

I'll have to be more.. detailed it seems, I try when i post to post with simplist of terms so that majority of people can understand but it seems I failed, lets try again.
When i say avoid pvp- They will talk rather than fight, Talking their way out of a sticky situation is the best route for those rated with a 1
2 backed into a corner - they will fight only if they have no other choice, which means their enemy has either declared war on them or started pking/griefing their exp groups but they would prefer to find ways out.
3- those rated a 3 will only fight enemies who are weaker then them but when one of equal size possibly a bit higher lvl they will revert to being a number 2 or 1
4- rare sight on this server, this alliance will PVP their enemies outside cities, or towns possibly gate hop till help arrive but keeps the battle hot, PK enemies on sight with effective methods of removing the karma and pk counts, will war enemy with a just cause.
5- or battlemongers, Will pvp, Siege, and PK when the time comes to it, they will not let anyone walk over them or scare them, and even if they look like they will loose they wil still fight regardless.
These by the guidlines i set for the purpose of this post are the 5 levels of the PVP spirt, Many have your own opinions what make up the PVP spirit, awesome, post a comment but keep in mind you didn't start the thread :P
Um... Epoch has been at war with FadedSteel for the last couple weeks, by choice. I don't recall being backed into a corner when I did the /warinvite command. That's not to say we are a 4 or 5, but I'm pretty sure 2 is inaccurate, at best.
Something else to consider... The reason some alliances may choose not to PvP is because they don't want their low level members getting dropped, like bad habits, everytime they leave town. One lvl 75 nuker can take out a 5 player party of lvl 40's - 50's without breaking a sweat.
those are usually found in sieges, usually on the larger alliances scale.
this is of course an opinionative poll, the goal is to see what do alot of people see where do some people see alliances fall in terms of their pvp, there will be some who feel that certain alliances should be rated higher, and others feel that lower. I wish i could make this poll annoymous but i don't have Board admin powers (yet ... muhaha)
I would also like to re-state level 2 after re-reading 2 made it seem that an alliance was a coward , which wasn't my intention
Level 1 - PVP only if a last resort, for the protection of lower members, talking out the situation is usually the best course of action for those rated with a 1.
level 2 - PVP on rare occassion or incidents
so with that being said i'll bite the bullet and post my own view point i guess, I remind you all these are just general levels, they can have gray areas where some alliances are 3s but they are also 4s on ocassion .
Now before you all come after me in game calling for kitty blood remember this just from observation and of course i could be way off, but this is just my honest opinion and feelings But after reading this you still feel like pking me, than perhaps i'll raise your level a bit @.@
Nice post. Amazed we made your list of even small alliances. i thought at first it was a lets talk about my alliance some more post. If your scale is a gauge of aggresiveness. I'd say everyone is a 3 +/- 2 depending on who your dealing with in the alliance, and which alliance/individuals they are dealing with and what cycle the moon is in. I hope that helps
First and foremost, the major alliances, IMO:
Epoch:3
Storm: 2
Core: 3
Divine: 4
Legend: 2 (altho they used to be higher, but their numbers have shrunk recently)
Now, while I agree that 4's and 5's are rare, I do not believe they are non-existant on the server. Smaller factions with a name to prove will fit into these two categories. There are a number of smaller alliances that won't back down from a fight. And also those that will fight when provoked. Aegis is the biggest one that springs to mind, as they will fight no matter what.
This is my own personal opinion of the server, and by no means correct outside of my own viewpoint. Whilemy alliance tends to avoid trouble, I personally will stand and fight and there are others in my alliance that will do so as well. We recently had a level 60 destroyer and two level 6x dwarves pvp against four nukers that are 70+. We got our [censored] handed to us fairly quickly, but we didn't back down at least.
The whole server isn't carebear IMO. And while there are many clans and alliances that do not wish to fight andpvp, there are just as many who do. Most people don't pay them any attention though when their clans are major clans.
5 dont exist on hinde. something like Uprising on bartz or Catalyst on sieg.
100% agreed, even a 4 isn't real big here on Hinde but thats because politics play such a big role. The server really just jump on the botters/griefers and tell them they don't get to play...and we do a pretty good job of it. Losing the players that don't earn their own exp...we're left with mainly 3's for clans.
Again, I think the options are WAY too shortsighted. I've seen Domi behave as everything from a 5 to a 1 on your scale in the course of 2 years. There's a large combination of events that really trigger things on Hinde to achieve full out KOS wars. Usually it has broken from personal squabbles between clans and expanded to the whole ally.
Everyone is going to say "we took on, and we fought these guys" well obviously Drek's ranking didn't say "does or does not fight" it is a perspective on ATTITUDE. Frankly anyone who so much as DISCUSSES WHY they are fighting gets blocked from the "5." If there is a REASON you're fighting, you aren't a warmonger.
4's on Hindemith are again, rare. Some exist for a day or two, but generally there isn't a clan that will COMPLETELY STOP EXPING to pvp for more than that. If you go solo, say you don't feel like fighting today, or have somebody in your clan that says this, you're not in the "4" category in my book.
Every single ally on this server is a 2. No matter how tough they talk, no matter how special and unique they think they are. I get SO entertained when another dog comes barking about how they will never die and their ally is the greatest. Always all bark and no bite.

I think that's a more important question to address. If you just pvp 24/7 in L2, you're going to lose a lot of pvp. Inevitably you are lower lvl and more poorly equipped than your opponents. It takes HOURS to grind each little piece of that 74-75 walk. Either you play WAY too much L2 and are "hardcore" (a category I also like to call the "complete loser/stop breathing my air"), or you inevitably fight as a means to an end. L2 doesn't give you exp for pvp. Intrinsic to the very nature of the game, pvp cannot be an end or it is simply the end of your ally.
Truly I classify myself as a -1. I have no desire to pvp off siege grounds, frankly Im lucky to make about 15% a week at this level. With raids, lag, and my inevitable desire to 1v1, that's not much extra space for playing around. If you grief me, ks, or talk trash I will generally ignore you and simply add your name to the list. Then when Domi says "who should we siege" I say "these people because." I love a good fight, but there are so few fair ones these days, I have no desire to seek them out. The best pvps I ever find anymore, are when I pm the enemy leader and tell him where to meet us. The griefing pk wars are just a pathetic test of who can find more people exping alone in the other ally.
Luke = -1 Siege ground only pvp unless provoked. I don't even fit on your scale so I made my own :p
Now if we ever get back to the old days when mass pvp was more than "Haha we brought 3 parties to kill your 4 players and you won't flag, cowards!" You might see old "4" Luke back on ally chat thundering away about definatively picking our next enemy. As I see it, game mechanics, play time, and interest atm leave too much to be asked for to generate the older large scale pvp environments of yore.
I still think its funny that we all look to eachother and personal opinions and attitudes as if that is truly what controls the nature of this game. NCsoft's design, inevitably directs everything. Even those who are defiant and think they're "bad boys." You are all measured and accounted for. You are controlled at every step despite an absolute illusion of control.
epoch 2...they zerging server ... oblivion 1.... never see them pvp or clan wars yet legend 2..... they lost alot of pvp players core... 2 never seen them really pvp unless they helping another allianice on server that is strong divine..3.. pvp when needed [censored]..1 new alliance Titans...2 lol they dont fight if they will lose...carebears of mafia...
We are smaller than other ally such as legend/storm, we just happen 2 have a very high % of active members who turn up for sieges. Also being able to work the political aspect of the game is my specialty, maybe you should come on vent for a few lessons son.

Maybe you just weren't around us then ^^ I've been collecting pvp points for 2 weeks straight now, with some odd Festivals in between. XP? Whats that. Can you eat that? Oh wait that's that counter that goes down by 1 now and then :p
lol, if you're talking about Dion...did you notice that Divine didn't come to defend? We knew you were attacking, we just choose not to defend. Instead, we stayed to help epoch take Aden. If we really wanted the castle back, then at the next seige date..we woulda took it back.

You are quite correct. A clan called Mirmidonions (not sure on spelling) signed up to seige Dion, they couldn't get past the NPC guards though, so they left. KOS came along, easily killed the guards, bashed down the gate, then pmed the clan leader and said "dion castle is all yours" So the leader came along and claimed the castle. 2 weeks later, KOS came and easily took castle from them.
I dunno, for a clan who is so 'we pvp/pk anywhere, anytime" seems like you went to alot of effort to avoid a fight with Divine...then again...we did fight you in the end (along with other allies)...and well..now you are no more...

Basicaly just Scions (or part of them) ported from Aden Siege Grounds back to Dion. But not enough buffers and healers => no way to hold it. So we decided not to fight back but get back to Aden Siege and at least get Aden. We did it.
But that is a bit OT. Sometimes the pure pvp is not the way to get things you want to.

Overall good topic and I won't even bother with the ratings. I rarely pvp, and when I do, I die. Tho I do have a few things to say. First thing- The term carebear. This term bugs the crap out of me. People throw it around, calling others carebear...then do nothing about it. "Joe Badarse calls Jimmy Nosepicker a carebear, then goes off xping". Second thing that erks me, the people that say they love pvp and aren't worried about losing anything or xp. KoS was one of these, but once the server rose up, they disbanded...why? Even if there were massive wars on this server, to truely not be called carebear and be ranked a 5, your clan/alliance would have to hold all the way through, not eventually decline and disband over it. This is all just my opinion just so ya know, and it's probably not worth a **** due to, as I said, my real non pvp experience here on L2. Well, enough said, continue with a great post :)

I would say a lot of these posts are know wrong since much has changed in the past 2 weeks. From what I have seen Oblivion is very active in pvp and so far has been owning its competition, of course with all wars both sides will have losses, but in this war Oblivion was the victor. Good Fight to those who were there.
I saw 1 party of Olivion own 2 Pts of Storm and they had 2 bihsops on their side. Also a nuker take on a whole group solo. but both sides had their days, good and bad, good fight all.
And lol legend hasnt been in anything lately so they dont even fit on this pvp list.
I dont know what do you speaking about. We are still fighting with Epoch. If you think about score Oblivion vs Storm you should wait some time. Domisun separated our enemyes by priority to deal with and this is a wise move.

what do you classify as a good smart post? i don't see you sticking your neck out with something worthy of the people of Hindemith to read, don't judge from the shadows it makes you look like a shrew.
And on a side note, it is in the end and reality just a game, doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken serisouly but to an extent.
-Castles: These are a big motivator... financial and bragging rights to boot... The best Hinde sieges are at least tied amoing the best of any server...
-Hunting grounds: Not much of an issue right now on Hinde as it is easier to find more and better hunting ground than to kill someone over it... smart players go where everyone else isn't. Killing someone over it gets the whole escalation circle-jerk thing going and one has to be REALLY lucky to find someone who will actually fight without knowing that they completely outclass and outnumber their opponenet.
-Arena: getting meaningful PvP in the arena is rare but does happen, but it is 1v1... if only there were 5v5 and 9v9 battles/tournaments for cash/item prizes in the main arena...
One of the biggest problems with PvP on ALL L2 servers is the fact it isn't PvP. PvP implies the opponent is actually capable of being a challenge. "Versus" implies at least two opponents worthy of each other.
Most "PvP" on our server (and any other if the PTS was any example) happens when one group decides to kill the other and does it while they are fighing 20+ mobs. In addition, they usually bring 2 to 1 or more odds of people 10+ levels higher and then BSoE after killing them.
Rarely, two alliances/clans meet outside and settle their differences in a straight-up battle. Way too often, one side ends up doing the chicken-line-dance over some imaginary border where the guards help...
In order for real PvP to exist in the game there must be a few things:
1) A tangible goal (castle, prize, or anything that makes running away like a scared little girl a real loss.)
2) An agreed set of honorable rules (these can be game rules or simply house rules.)
3) Reward: self explanatory.
Forcelog also needs to die.
(Just have the character stay in the world when someone else logs them in...)

If the PTS server is any indication, the other servers have the same problems we do... they don't PvP either... they just gank and BSoE/run/log.

(in old war terms) Meaning Domi tried to attack Epoch, then got attacked by Oblivion because as you put it "sorrus got pked off siege grounds during the siege." Now you're young, I know, but lets see if you can connect the dots. If you're so anxious for a war, wait your turn? Or fight one of the 6 or 7 other allies? Nono it's more fun to make the odds uneven.
Again, died once in actual pt vs pt combat. And my excuse is theMayers is uber. IMO that's a valid excuse for anyone. I'm certain others have died more than me, but my parties have a tendency for success. Maybe that's why Tommy gave me the nickname...hell I don't know. But I do recall posting that some epoch weren't accepting war, to which I was told its an alt/2box clan, to which I responded "well we warred with ours." We warred for a few days. Domi talked to Amnesty and asked why he was getting involved when we were amid a war with Epoch. He was told it was just for fun. Domi said he'd prefer to be able to take on one ally at a time. Oblivion withdrew their war invitations.
Lots of us had a ton of fun, win or lose. Im certain my record is better than most of Storm, but I tend to be an organizer. So you can flame all you want for telling Amnesty we'd rather not be at war. Obviously we were willing to accept when you sent. Obiviously we'd accept again to defend ourselves. Obviously this is a simple matter of its better/smarter to war one ally at a time if you can. But I guess if you think you won, have a cookie Mawata. Storm is now at war with Epoch, which is what we wanted at the end of Giran siege when we declared war in the first place.

Well I wasn't online when the war ended between Oblivion and Storm, but Domi personally told me he had no desire to war EPOCH (except out of anger after the siege, and he admitted he really had no reason 2 war EPOCH) he also stated that he would much rather war Oblivion because he had reasons 2.. im confused why he said that then ended the war with the people he stated he had a problem with... o well more PvP kills/deaths and SP for me :)

People, no one cares how bad you think you are... The clan war feature is to allow a method of retribution that doesn't give Karma. It doesn't seem to have a point beyond that.
Any time two clans go at it with nothing at stake, nothing is gained. Clan wars are gank wars that escalate back and forth and little more. The group that wins for a particular time of day is the one with more players online at the time... In other words, LUCK is the determining factor more often than not.
What kind of skill do you think it takes to bring 9 70+ level characters and annihilate 2-3 6x characters and then BSoE/log? You are so skilled that a script could replace you.
Want to see who is actually skilled at PvP?
Put 1-3 groups of toons to the arena, bring a clan wager in 100 millions of adena, and fight for honor or the money... Have set rules of honor and bring a referee...

Flint is funny. The only 2 times i saw flint in pvp he bsoe'd. That's really having a boot to our neck. In fact, I've never seen so many bsoe's. I didn't know there were that many produced on the server as I've seen used in the past 2 weeks. Funny part is, if ya get a 60% rez from dying, you lose less xp than if ya bsoe during a clan war. GG
I was online when the war cancelling was going on... No one wanted to end the war, because it was fun pvp. The ONLY reason that any withdrew first was because the leaders of Storm's clans weren't on to do so as far as I'm aware. I know Ominous didn't want to be the first to withdrawl because we knew you guys would try and say we gave up.
I don't remember a single person in our alliance complaining about being at war, we've been having a good time at it... Most were dissappointed it was over, actually.

i was on both my main and a duel i got in storms alt clan when the wars with oblivion ended, ominus at least with Tsunami withdrew first. i had alliance chat off so i can not talk for the others in the alliance but ominus withdrew first from Tsunami. storm and oblivious to me are equal alliances, to see ppl come on and trash talk about this is stupid as hell. the war was fun but it's over who gives a [censored] who won or lost. the oblivion and storm war ended as a mutual thing both alliance leaders agreed it was a good thing to end it.
Epoch out of personal experiance watching them have only really taken down a pt i was in once. i see more epoch BSOE then stay and fight. i give credit to those that do stay and fight cause they are fun and it's a good fight. but those that bsoe must be nice to have alot of money to keep afording those. i will admit it's funny after running a pt of epoch over comming back to town and see 50 epoch standing in town, and talk [censored] cause they are having to try and chase us all over the map.
but key word this is a game, not a rl life or death war, you loose 1 xp per death, so even at lvl 75 it's no biggy. this is to have fun, which i can talk for most of storm we are having. it begins to become boring and lost the fun aspect when you get people that don't know really anything that is going on and talks smack, or even in game tries to make themselves look bigger and better when in reality they are not.
but i have to say for my fellow storm that are posting here you are no better then those that are trash talking when you talk back as you are lowering yourself to their lvl. alowing them to win, best thing to do is let them talk cause most the time that is all it is is talk.

From my experience FS uses a crapload of bsoe's, I've seen whole parties bsoe at the same time, multiple times, g**** people, where do you get all that cash? not from picking up adena loot thats for sure :p

As for the pvp... must be a timezone thing. I ONLY see FS clans and barely any Storm {non FS I mean} people/teams. FS always puts up a nice fight in my timezone, but the few individual nonFS Storms we find aren't really a factor. I guess Tsunami/Flashflood is mainly American?
Domisun, I do not think its entirely fair to say "Epoch didn't want to end the war with us". You terms were us giving you adena, DC robes and DC gloves which we got as "spoils of the war" (read: FS going red and then dying). To me those aren't really terms and do not even invite/allow us to open up negotiations from our side. Like I said before/above, I have yet to find any Storm resistance worth mentioning (again, maybe a timezone thing? Still odd as many EPOCH are American too), and this week the FS pvp people seems a bit less online then usual. Your terms are close to insulting so I'm a bit amazed you post this. Maybe I should demand 200m from you and post here you do not want to end the war while we tried?

yes tsunami and FF are primairly American/Canadian clans, so we are on at a compleatly diffrent time then fs. as for the terms of ending the war, that is just something fs dose. they asked for a +4 majestic ring back..for which we got from one of their reds when NewDivision was waring them. in order for us to end the war they simply asked for the item to be returned. i see no problem with that for you are not ment to go red in this war unless you kill someone that is not apart of this. it also shows good sportsman ship as this is just a game.
and as to less FS, ppl do have a life other then this game and are not on all the time :P
I have always bsoed when attacked. Not cause I don't want a fight, but because I play solo, completely unbuffed, using curse death link. I.e. if an FS sees me, I'm almost guaranteed to be completely unbuffed and sitting on about 800 or less HP :P Needless to say I can't expect to win any fight in that scenario against fully clan-hall buffed FS nukers ;)
IMO, if your opponent in a fight bsoes, it's as good as a kill - you have caused them financial loss rather than xp loss, and to be honest, adena is king in this game, moreso than xp.
People's reasons for bsoeing are varied (e.g. my reason above). It's not necessarily because they are carebear or have too much money. But I don't see the point in hanging around for a certain death when I'm death linking ;)

Considering that we were all losing less than a percent when dropped, it makes very little sense to me. However, there's no denying what truly happened.
You threw in the towel as quietly and bureaucratically as possible. In other words, while you were winning a skirmish here and there... you were most definitely losing the war. Smarter people would have kept quiet about it in an effort to save face. Unfortunately for Storm, several of your people's mouths are bigger than their brains.

Only Solange left FS clan during this war. But this is exception. As I explained Domi and can explain you FS-clans are PvP-oriented clans. We always lose our members who dont want to fight, care about procents and take new ones. Therefore we dont care about our numbers when war is started.
I was proud that we never use BSOE if we have a chance to win battle. What I found on the forum was surprising to me. Personnaly I used 2 BSOE-s during the war. Moreover I always ress my people and return them into battle if possible.
Yes, Flaming Steel was the first who withdraw from the clanwar. I had an order to end this war and I made it faster then others. What else.

Also - just to add to this(no pictures this time hence the new post). One of the clans within storm stopped the war (can't remember which - I was too engrossed in scratching my balls), waited all of 10 seconds, re-initialised the war, probably got shouted at by the alliance leader for doing so, paused to think....slowly, then ended it again...
Don't know about you guys, but i didn't think that clicking the wrong clan-function button over and over again (probably because you fumbled the mouse as you dropped your "He-Man" figure) counted as the other side withdrawing...

So because we chose to register for Giran in the last few minutes til the end of registration period it automatically gave you free reign to pk our alliance at Goddard? You had a week to register btw, you owned the castle, you have only yourselves to blame for not registering to defend it.

You had two clans registered for defense, they were not approved. That was 24 hours prior to the registration period ending. 2 hours before, the same scenario, but oblivion was signed up to attack.
Just like with dawn there slav, you were too lazy to check, and you believed that noone would have the juevos to attack your castle.

the reason we were at HPA was the same reason you were, after you cleared our flags we had to respawn in HV, had to port to HPA, had to SOE .. just as you did, NOBODY from oblivion attacked storm here, we were returning to the siege grounds where the fight was to be ... until u decided to pk that is.

That being said, gives you no right whatsoever to pk someone off siege grounds. Altho, I gotta say, PvP is perfectly legal anywhere in the game. But now you come up and try to make excuses why you were there pking people: "Epoch was supposedly there too"

You got into this war because you are too lazy to defend your castle, either that or you think you are too uber for the rest of the server. Well, obviously you aren't. You lost a castle because you (as we say in America) "Counted your chickens before they hatched."

You guys went to HPA for the simple reason to kill Oblivion people as they tried to get to Giran to get to the siege grounds. All that other crap about Epoch and Ominous people being there and you trying to "clean it out" is complete [censored]. If it wasn't, then I'm pretty sure any Epoch people that were there would have spawn killed your players the moment they appeared at HPA. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but during sieges there is a lot more server lag, and it takes a lot longer for a person's comp to register that you have spawned in a certain place. I have ported to HPA during a siege and when the lag caught up I was dead on more than one occasion. So please, stop your BS and get on with your war with Epoch.
You are only going to get yourselves into another two-front war with Oblivion if you keep trying to make excuses about this.
You pk'd off siege grounds for one reason only: tactical advantage. Say what you will, that is what it is. Your excuses hold no water, just goes to show that your "PvP based clans" are more carebear than you care to realize.
I could not register for defence of Giran, I was attacking it.
At the moment of siedge FS was in CW with Epoch. We could not get siedge ground because some nice guys from Epoch started to kill FS on the teleport spot. My clan didnot participated because we have CH in Dion, we could port directly to Giran without passing through HPA. ViconiaDeVir made decission to come in HPA from Oren and clear the spot from Epoch. We made it and also we killed some Ominous members at HPA. Sorrus said they did not help Epoch, they were on their way to Giran, if it was true then PK of them was our fault. So where is the BS in my words? I suppose everything :).
By the way BraveHeart our old friends. There will be many people in FS who dont want to have CW with BH. Of cause if this happens I will follow my orders but I cannot say so about anothers :)

Umm read the whole sentence? It states, if you were just passing through, fine, but a group of Epoch were pking at Hardins. That means if you're gonna ally Epoch in a siege, you're going to have to accept the consequences. They can't go kill Epoch without running into you along the way. And yes, plenty of Oblivion flagged on me while returning to the siege ground.
And again, read the posts. All any Storm have done is state that Oblivion posts that we surrendered were absurd. Yes, we knew fighting two allies would be tough. Yes, we looked for a way out of this from the start. Domi asked both allies for someone to backoff the whole fight so we could have some FUN pvp. So I'm not sure how you "beat down" anyone when they're asking you to stop from the get-go. The point isn't that we were winning, nowhere in saying "we didnt surrender" says anything about winning. Oblivion has what, 5x the active members in Storm?

read the bolt print again.... if you were doing this, you dont deserve to be pk'd ... as previously stated, thats all we were doing, simple as that. we knew full well that epoch and FS were at war, and it was stupid of FS to go "clearcutting" the forest as they say, just because others were nearby. this is what started [censored] between FS and oblivion, altec was the reason that all of storm was brought into the picture.

Luke, I'm gonna skip straight to the 1 vs 1 comment... stop talking [censored]. Clyde (Tank, SK) said he would be more than happy to 1 vs 1 you... and you did not take him up on it. Less talk more kill, its that simple. Minimize from these forums, load up L2, and 1 vs 1 Clyde (after all it was you who challenged him, and he waited around for an hour).
Its called war, you get as many as you need/want/able to get, and you come attack EPOCH, thats what you do in war.

I will make very clear what happened bc soooooo many are trying to piece it together bc its SO DAM IMPORTANT ISNT IT?
I had been unable to contact amesty since the war had started. I was about to log off a couple nights ago when jelare said in ally chat arg he got me or somethuing like that. To which i asked who got him bc he rarely dies and is constantly out looking for warred peeps to kill. He tells me amesty got him (and for clarity bc there are so many [censored] morons here...HE DIDNT CARE AT ALL) I at that point took the opportunity to contact amesty as i had not been able to talk to the leader of oblivion b4. My first contact was "hey", my second was "do you think this war is warranted" after some discussion about whether it was warranted or not, we agreed that when the war was no longer fun for either side we would end it (which pretty much proves my point that it wasnt warranted, there were no hard feeling therefore it was definitely not warranted). I DID NOTHING AT THAT POINT. Then the next day i was pm'd by MasterFlint he said "hm how do i word this correctly" then he said "i understand you want to "surrender"" or something along those lines but surrender was definitely used. To which i responded "lol" because i thought it was funny, another e thug needing to be surrendered to. I then went and talked to our leadership to see whether they wanted to continue the war or not as we had an opportunity to end it now that there was some actual discussion taking place (which of course was impossible with Sorrus who would not talk rationally with me after his "pk's"). It was agreed that it would be wise for us to end it if possible as we do not want a 2 prong war for an extended period of time. Then I told Masterflint that we would withdraw, then he told me that his leaders werent all online and he needed to talk to them all b4 withdrawing. I then had to go offline. I returned and was told that ominous and dotd had withdrawn war from tsu. I thought that was a nice gesture on ominous' part and withdrew all war from oblivion.
IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YA?! HOLY SHEEP S H I T. I never realised how [censored] DETAILED THESE DAM POSTS NEED TO BE IN ORDER FOR THE BS NOT TO FLY ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I shouted who wants to 1v1 and Clyde said ok. I said alrighty where to and suddenly he got quiet. What was happening were some of your gimpy B grade nubs were standing around RD in the middle of town talking the usual noob crap because 3 people in Storm had finally died. Apparently this was a big deal and they wanted to celebrate for...an hour. While watching RD quietly sit and listen to a guy 20 lvls under her trash talk I was entertained that he thought he was so tough.
As for Clyde, gimmie a time and a place and I hope you all hit up Temple beforehand to pray lightningstrike lands.
Perhaps our 'terms' should've been clearer. Storm was surruending and the War was ending. Why did Oblivion want Storm to 'surrender'? So it was clear that Storm was asking for an end to this, not Oblivion. People like to win wars, not lose them, it's as simple as that, call us e-thugs or w/e. Have you ever pvp'ed someone and tried to lose? What's the point in that?
Please note that it was Storm(Luke) that was talking trash and that's when the Oblivion people started to post in response. Domisun, please take some lessons form Luke on how to make a coherent post, and when your caps lock key gets stuck, use one of those tissues you keep nearby to clean it out, then hit backspace, and re type it appropriately.
If you can't take the heat on the boards, stick to leading an alliance, you're obviously much more succesful at that then formulating a clear post.

2- PVPs when backed in a corner
3- PVP/PKs when the odds seem to be in their favour
4- PVP/War/Pk regardless
5- PVP/War/Siege/PK regardless and well organized
i think this is to narrow of a field to choose from
exp. if one were to "2- PVPs when backed in a corner" they may just not be liked and have bad odds lets say a 2 to 1 or something think that... so in which case making "3- PVP/PKs when the odds seem to be in their favour" being lower then "2- PVPs when backed in a corner"

lol @ calling people in B grade nubs, i still wear B grade armor (BW heavy FTW) and i have managed to kill nukers/tanks/archers/and melee (or get them to force log or BSOE) that have 8-10 lvls on me.
the grade doesnt make the character, the person playing them does, the almighty luke should have learned that by now.

Your gear matters but not as much as your lvl and your skill playing your char. I thought the all knowing Luke would have figured this out somewhere in the past 4 chronicles.

Tido2 in a demon set can 1v1 any player on the server.
On the other hand, you took that phrase backwards. I frequently state in ally chat "too many noobs who power leveled up their char aoeing in AB on Hindemith." A "B grade nub" is a player who's gear has outleveled his skills. IE bendernublet. The irony of RD probably being able to solo the three people trash talking her is what struck me as funny.
Again it takes next to no talent to play this game these days. Gear, level, and class (in reverse order actually) make or break pvp. Oh...and of course...numbers :) But as Mawata put it, there is no fair pvp in L2. The game is totally imbalanced. Classes and buffs mean everything. You will never see me running my mouth or trash talking in pvp. Certainly not getting bitter when I die. My favorite fights are the ones that last long enough for me to be killed. Perhaps it has something to do with the potential for me to actually earn kills when this happens >.>
But like Mawata said, there is no fair pvp in L2. And, with lvls getting high and as time consuming as the game has gotten, Domi has been bored. He hasn't been playing as much these days, and why should he? What hasn't Domisun done in L2? I assure you he loves the way the server is now. We spent 3 months on the same side of the TorTure fight in Prelude. That's what makes this game worth logging into. And with exp as it is at high lvls, clan wars make it less serious and more fun. I will not come here and post anything except how fun this war is unless somebody starts talking about pwnage or winners or how e-uber they are. Everytime I hear "Im the next Kaemon" I just shake my head. People in every ally run their mouths and I have to agree with Domi...it's getting so tiresome and boring. In Reborn I at least had the power to shutup my own ally, but now not even that happens. People just love to go on about how tough they are or how badass they will be next time they see you or how cool it is that they won a fight. We've heard the exact same thing from 500 different people for 2 yrs. Yet nobody has had as much castle lordship as Domisun. Not even close. The 2nd castle on this server went to Domi and he has had LONG seatings in castles ever since. Including reign over the most of any ally leader...ever.
So while it saddens me that Domi is bored enough to leave, I understand. It's all the same. You all keep arguing and while Flint or I may have fun with it and pm about the boards :p To domi...its like reading the same thing for the 5 millionth time. A circle of the same events since Prelude. It gets very boring sometimes, I don't even play but to raid or pvp anymore. So while people may flame or give BS about whining, it's quite the opposite to Domi. He's sick of listening to it, and he's about to do something about it on the way out the door.
This isn't the first time he's thought about quitting, he has had this thought a long while. So e-thug the tough guy stance elsewhere. Hindemith is losing a good player and I a great friend. And I don't blame him one bit. This game must be really dull to a 75 SH. He's warred more wars than any of you have probably seen. And every pvp on his counter is a massive accomplishment, not some random noob that randomly went purple. So have fun with the boards, but when push comes to shove, Domi is movin and shaking where plenty of people would be scared to be. People like Solange who ran with his tail between his legs to join Titans when we had a second ally war declared on us. Or Silverwolfecho whom, no offense gorgeous, is simply a healer who doesnt get many kicks out of pvp. You wanna play hardball, none on this server compare. And, like it or not, with Domi will go all the excitement you've been posting about for weeks. Sit and think about that one eh? I'm a little concerned myself. Name the ally leader that can fill that role? Ellden? Oakley? Kait? I love them all but seriously?
Who else has the balls to accept an ally war from Oblivion? Seriously how many clans did you add this week alone? Tsunami/Flashflood have a 18 player raid attendance on a good day (16 tonight). That's all the more actives there are NA Storm and I bet Titans alone does better than that on a bad day. And the average level of his clan isn't as high as some others either. With Domi goes the fun IMO. I hope you all enjoy going back to the grind. Im, frankly, disappointed. Maybe I can /clanwarinvite masterflint. I can guarantee one thing there. Our pvp will be the longest in Hindemith history :p We may need to rebuff VR part way through >.> Just VR and defense buffs k?

Hum I've been more of an arena junky in C3 then in C4 and never turned down a fight; people who ACTUALLY pvp know. Tanks and archers were a no issue for summoners in C3 too, just ask the ones that do pvp and fought me :p

hmm I might respond to these yelps about summoners and pvp.... but your just a tank. If your outlook in PVP is "if they get to summon a pet i get to summon a buffer" I feel sorry for you when it comes to the olympiad.. you are going for Pally hero one day correct?

That's why I can just fight class internal...or slaughter the acumenless blessedless nukers o.o But pking a summoner these days for me just takes patience. Watch them exp and when they goto resummon...+++ stun. But I'm still always entertained by people and their "my class is stronger comments." Anyone can sub anything if they actually care that much. If you don't see the irony of an overpowered class commenting "Ill 1v1 you" when nobody certainly would have done it when the tables were turned, well...I know you do so no comment Drek :p

Thanks alot Ivy for trying to pull this post back out of the gutter, I agree the scale though is not more of a measure of strength but a measure of attitude towards PVP.

As for luke, good luck stunning someone with + con tatoos and majestic armor who is higher level than you, I imagine ehli would just laugh at your stun, then kill you with full hp
