Better exp rate at lvl 30

I'm looking for the best exp rate for lvl 30-40 hunting.

At the moment, I am one shotting for 2-2.6k exp, and I want to know if I could get better rates fighting 2-4x hp mobs.

depends...

that is only true if ur outside due to the big xp bonus for field mobs

Im not looking for exp bonus.

I'm looking for opinions on actual kill rates. Do you get faster exp dumping mana on single targets, or one shotting a lot of little ones.

Im duoing with my SO ( gogogo lvling 2 more chars to 6x just to duo with my first ), so mana isn't a problem... that's why I ask.

If you are getting 2600 exp for a one shot kill at your level, you are in a prime location already. Stay there. The only reason why you should change would be to hunt in a more densely populated mob area.
