I might just be imagining things but yeah, green and even white monsters don't really drop Adena at the same rate as before anymore. To the point that using SS (not neccessarily spamming) results in a loss. Also, base mats seem to drop less.
Aside from that, what the [Censored] is up with monsters in the new areas that are lvl 70+ dropping base mats? Like 3 animal skins? How about making them drop 1-3 leather instead?
Whoever decided the drops should be strung up next to the other nimrods at devil's pass... <___<
When I originally stopped playing actively I thought that you hunted whites for the best xp and the greens for the money?
I thought the whole point was that you could grind greens and make money but the XP would be slower (even with the boost they are still worth less xp because they're lower level).
If they've lowered drop rates on light greens then I don't understand how people are supposed to make money while soloing. I have to spam BSS just to take down a light green.

they changed it so there is no penalty for hunting greens now.
However.. today... I have noticed "less than stellar" adena drops.
.... yes and it seems to varie depending on the type of mob.
When I was in Enchanted Valley (aka b o t Valley) I hardly dident get andy adena drop. When I hunt at Harit Lizardmen they give more or less the norma drop.
Very weird, considering that spoil rates hasn't been upped and manor capacity has been reduced, not increased, nor have many worthwhile quests been added.
You'd figure without touching any of the other sources of incoming, they wouldn't mess with the drop rates.
I haven't noticed this, but then I've been fighting deep blue mobs to level up a lowbie.
Yes I have gotta say I am a little disappointed with the spoils. I play a level 76 BH aswell as 3 other 76 characters and in the new areas I spoil the level 84+ mobs and they spoil 1 thons. Whats up with that? Surely something of that level should be spoiling something a bit better than a thon.
Fair enuf that people will start complaining that there is no place to get base mats when you're high level, but come on 1 thon!!! surely you could spoil say 12 thons, or 20 thons. The same mobs drop like 94 thread, thats crazy talk compared to their spoil.

Welll.....Thread has a base value of 100a and a Thon 6,000a
So for spoiling:
94 Thread = 9,400a value
1 Thon = 6,000a value.
For the most part it seems like NC tries to keep the adena value per spoil down to a average level...
...I'm more annoyed at how crappy the spoil lists are in most areas and mobs. No where near enough base spoils and far too many vendor trash recipes or insanely low Sweep %'s.
In the same amount of time can Manor 10x the amount of materials on single HP mobs than I can spoil and use a mere fraction of the MP I would use on Spoil doing so. And with a far greater success rate even if the seed I use is 'out of level range'. (The LAST thing spoilers need is YET ANOTHER MOB THAT SPOILS ELVEN RING RECIPES INSTEAD OF BASIC MATERIALS!)

Less for us more for Adena inc. Most of the drop changes and manor changes seem to swing in one driection. Nudge nudge.
