jus done a repeatable quest and i've got another "quest item" called black lion mark, but got no idea at all wat it does? anyone able to fill me in :D i'm assuming its for another quest, i got it from killing ol mahum stuff in abanndoned camp....
I think you need this to continue to the next stage of the quest in dion, the female guard outside fighter store (sophia?), she gives you a blacklion hunt to kill mobs in eg/ct swamp/ph and someplace else.
Yes, once you've returned 100 assorted badges to the quest NPC in Gludin, Mercenary Spophia in Dion has several takes you can take on. I too am curious about this mark though. At lvl 64 should I just delete this item? I keep thinking I'llcome accross another Ol'Mahum area and need it for another quest. Was there a Bandit Stronghold quest that it's needed for that I missed?

Once you get the mark and talk to that mercenary in Dion you can do several quests. They are areound Cruma and several other places. You collect items(forgot name) and take them to a different guy in the back of one of the dion buildings. He gives you parts of stuff you build, Once you get the parts the item it sellable for like 10k or someting. He also gives you different items that you just sell to store. Nothing but a small money maker. Sorry forget the details but its been like a year or more since I did it.
You are talking about the treasure chests. When there were alot of lower lvl people in dion area is was worth it to either collect and sell the treasure chests or to get them opened for items. But now its better just to sell the chests thier not worth opening. The black lion badge you need for the quests from sophia in dion. When you turn in 100 items from her quest you get an (forgot the name) eye ball in your quest window. I still haven't found any other quest where you need that item to participate. I am about to delete that quest because I need the room.
I still do this quest on alts between level 25-38 or so. I always open the cargo boxes rather than turn them in, but then again i am poor, so I try to get as much cash as I can.
I gather all the tablet and statue pieces and hopefully that bumbling blacksmith Rupio in Giran doesnt break them (which he does quite often) but if he does put them together they are worth 30k, granted you take them to DE newbie temple, or Dwarven newbie town guild. I just keep the tablets and statues I get until I have to go to those places for 2nd class change, then turn them in for a decent wad of cash.
