You're going Shilien Oracle -> Shilien Elder. You can stick with the Devotion set for a bit but you might want to look at the Mithril set (banana suit), although the gloves can be expensive and are necessary to complete the set bonus. Weapon - depends on what role you want to play. If you want to help with damage I'd suggest some cheap duals or fists, if you want to hang back and heal then go for a top NG staff (Mage Staff?), upgrading to a Goat Head Staff after a while.
Try save as much money as possible so you can afford C-grade gear, you'll benefit more from that class change than at lvl 20. So if you can stomach it, perhaps stick with NG gear until you hit lvl 40.
Quests... can't help you here much I'm afraid, things have changed so much since I started. Check the Adventurer in each town for details.
Grouping will be your friend. You can solo for a while but that ability will quickly diminish, and you'll get much greater benefit from grouping - around lvl 25-30 you can go to Cruma Swamp and maybe even Cruma Tower first floor. Also Execution Grounds, Ruins of Agony/Despair. There's plenty of places.
well #1 this isn't one of those games with tricky skill templates. just get all the skills, as you have the level and sp for them.
as far as gear goes, devo set is pretty good for a while into d grade, and then mithril set i believe is what you'll want(or if you suck like me, go manti ;)) any ol weapon is good for shilen oracle, until c grade when you'll want something with accumen or mana up.
oh yeah as de, the class progression is mystic> shilen oracle> shilen elder. you should have no problems getting into good exp groups, especially once you learn vr.
sa far as quests go... check the adventur guildsmen and sort by level find those in your level range and get em all. if you don't end up using them, you can delete them later.

Set of devotion - ok!
Good staff, will do.
VR? thats a Spell I assume? ok will check the spells.
Get the skills - ok!
I got about 6 days left before I need to buy the game. If I decide to stay I guess finding a clan will be in order right. ok.
