The Gludin Fishing club is the one that trains Olympic fisherpeople.
Our Guild hall is located just outside the northern entrance of Giran. We Obliviously fish the lake around there.
We do not tolerate fishing bots, as they kill our economy. We aren't the Giran fishing club for nothing, we are located close to the market hub.
It's easy to join the Giran fishing club, just go to Giran and pull out your pole. The lake is always nesting with people, it's like NYC, it never sleeps.

Look buddy. I deal in entering cornfields at dusk. It's new stuff, so intelligent people are taking notes.
Detecting a fishing bot is pretty easy, since the botters are kinds new at this stuff also.
First of all, the will be there ALL the time. They never take breaks, they just do the same **** thing over and over and over again.
Second, They don't react to mobs. They just stand there until the mob vanishes. But the giveaway here is that as SOON as the mob vanishes, the botter is already casting again...
Third : The bot, when it dies (or is attacked for that matter) doesn't react. I fished over that bot's dead body hours on end.
Yes, it disapears in about 30 seconds if you dont fight back.
And the drops when you kill it are pretty good from what I hear.
Not that good, they only drop 2/3 of the time and most of the time it's 1-3 medium grade lures. I heard of people on PTS getting a fishing rod from those mobs, but thats a "Full Wearpon Drop" and you know what is a chance of that ;) if that's not just a rumor.
If you don't equip a weapon and just slap the mob, will it last longer than 30 sec? cause if it does u could use the mob to kill bots... and slapping mobs doesn't pull agro too quickly... maybe slap it once every 20 sec...
I fish all by myself in the middle of nowhere, so i've never actually seen a fishing bot.

I am really close to guards, and lots of traffic in these parts. It's funny to see the reactions. Most stop, see that I am fishing, so don't bother all that much.
One brave fellow was looking at me from far (an archer). Then he came close to me.
