well i look in the website Static for price of stuff how come prices are like alot more even though i add the tax its still more then what they list in shops are they outdated??and where can i buy a brig shield,it price is only 79k from the site and i see ppl selling it for 500k so yeah...
Things that are drop or craft only (like the brig shield) are priced by players and the l2 market. That's why a brig helm goes for over 1 mill on some servers, for example.

OK for all of you that are new to the game. Almost all prices you see on websites like stratics are based on what they sell for in NPC shops. If they are not sold and are craft only most websites price items according to crystal value. But as you will soon find out ingame is a hole different story. The value on items depend on.
Crystal value + time/adena consumed to get parts to craft item + demand for the item + availability + greed = item price
Then again if its enchanted you can add even more depending on cost of enchants. Anything past +3 you will pay for the cost of the enchantment + the risk in enchanting to the lvl the item is.
I'm sorry, Can someont tello me how much I would be able to probably buy a DG Dark Elven Bow (not enchanted) from a player selling it? I'm on the sig server and in shop it's like 850,000 but I think a player who wants to get rid of there bow will sell it for less that then! Can someone give me an estimated price on players selling that bow?
It will be probably 10-20% less or something like that, but the problem is there isnt that many new players, and under-store-price D items are bough realy fast becouse they are used to crush and make D grade shots, to craft and to buy some of C grade items.
I'm speaking in a point of view of a total new player. No alts.. no money to get form primary character, no clan, no trick/ebay etc.
For the first equipment use the shop changing your old equip with new one.. more then one time. ALWAYS first weapon.. don't throw away money on top
armour before weapon.
If you the type of heavy armour.. ok brigandine.. but is no sense go to take helmet for the insane 900k - 1M adena.
Unless you have money to spend.. think about proportions... for the cost of the helmet you can also buy all TOP D necklage.. the Elven set from shop.. and
that MAKE some difference in mdef for PVE... and you will not have spent all the money. One good D grade weapon in shop can cost like 1.400.000 adena.. better that
than the helmet.
Your C grade base weapon will cost over 3 milions on the Luxury shop.. (paying in crystal C and D grade).. and YOU NEED THAT.
The cost of a TOP D from players is very near of the base C grade.. and his value in D crystal is not that.
The C grade can be easily enhaced with effect like focus, speed, heal.
Buying Top D from player paying like a base C will fire all your money.. but is no so simple regain those money when you need C.
Because if you crystallize you take the real value of the weapon.. (not what you paid).. you should sit.. and try to sell.. at price you buy.
When you have base C go for blacksmith of mammon.. and put effort to change with him you weapon with TOP C.. paying the difference.
No sense in my eyes put heavy money on Top D from player at insane prices.
(well.. if you millionare.. better you spend :) good for economy :))
whast is mammon? so it's better to buy the strengh bow thats going for 500,000k which is low D garde then save and upgrade oater? the difference between the Elven bows and the strength bows is the 82PATTACK & 105 will that make a huge difference for the money?
If you are a "New character" thim means that this char resived soulshots from quests and buffs from newbie helper you can get a wearpon simular to the one for 500k for free if you are 20-24 and dont have any PK count. The only problem with tihs wearpon is that it is untradable, you can't sell it nor put into WH.
No I can't get any new help or new weapon thisi s my second char on this server my other char was a mystic and I decided to stop leveling her for my archer and so now I'm wondering is it better to buy a DG good dagge instead of use my NG bow till I have more oney saved up?
Finding good deals on d-grade items takes time, patience, and a bit of practice.
It can be done, and with the blacksmith of mammon you can convert a non-desirable weapon into something useful to you or others. Keep in mind the new baby-pet quests take one of the entry-level d-grade weapons to do, so that's a potential market for when you're ready to move up. I bought a couple poinard daggers for 425k just before C4 launched and converted to crafted dagger for the quest (make about 120k right there, except I did the quests and sold the pets for even more gain).
You may find it more to your liking to buy the cheapest NPC store you can find, and get back to hunting/leveling. Almost always, Giran is cheapest NPC store.
Its been very rare that I've seen someone selling any DG DE or Elf Bows but it's been a bit more common to find Strength bow so is it worth buying that bow for 500k or using my money towards a dagger instead of then using my NG Bow I still have?
I'd think grab whatever you can. If the ng-bow is still working okay for you, stick with it.
It's hard to keep 2 weapons up to grade - I'd think you'll want to pick either bow or dagger and stick with it. It's also risky to carry 2 weapons. Your equipped weapon will never be dropped on death if you're white, but other weapons in your inventory will drop.
Note that whatever class you choose at lvl 40 doesn't particularly matter if you've been using bow or dagger thru d-grade levels.
No the NG bow wont be working for me for much longer it's either I buy the strength DG bow for about 450-500k & then try to use the rest to save up for manticore amrour & gaiters or I buy the bow and use the rest ot save up to get a dagger and use two weapons? even thou I prefer my bow it's fun to use :)
