Lvl 30 Scavenger - Where to grind?

Yeah so as of late i've been grinding the catacombs, but it's going to slow... Any suggestions? I'm dual wielding.

At LVL 30, I was grinding it out at PH (with my scavy alt), NW of Dion. The mobs there spoil good amounts of iron, bone and varnish. So combine that with seeding, was making good $$ and leveling at a reasonable rate.

Or OB (NW of gludio) those mobs mostly give coal and high grade suege, on of lower mobs gives animal skins, a somewhat decent quest, and manor, sinth those are 2x mobs.
Also some spoil of low D parts which you MIGHT (check the mat prices on your's forum, I got D cry for 400-500a each from that) craft and cursh for a profit with a help of friendly arty.

If all you care about is xp, get a polearm. You have polearm masteries, and even with the C4 changes, you can still hit three mobs at once (I limit my dwarves to 3 if I have no healer.) You may need to use soulshots, but you are getting triple-duty from them.

If you care about adena, you need to watch the market and target your spoiling for the material that is most in demand at the moment. Right now, that is suede (but not for much longer.)

Around Dion, both the Monster Eye Gazers and Searchers spoil suede. You need to kill isolated ones, as they are social with a nasty ranged attack. The Searchers (lvl 22, soon to be dark blue to you,) are 2X HP mobs, so they give better xp.

If you go to PH, the mobs to target are the Ol Mahum Captain (lvl 30, aggro, spoils multiples of both Varnish and Iron Ore;) and the Ol Mahum Raider (lvl 27, spoils Bones and Iron.) Both are 2X HP mobs.

For animal bones (another perenial favorite mat,) wait a few levels, then spoil the dead seeker (lvl 34) in the EG. His spoil rate is very high (over 90% in C3.) The nearby Ghoul spoils coal.

The mobs around Forgotten Temple spoil iron ore, varnish, silver nuggets at a great rate. Lesser Tyrants, Tyrants, etc.

if your alone i dont recommend it but yeah both lesser warlike and warlike tyrants spoil varnish, coal and leather and Van ol mahums leader spoil silver nuggets and Iron ore and spoils always lands. :D

to bad that in my server that area is full of 'you know what' crews 24/7. :(

any good lvl 30ish mobs spoil Charcoal at a decent rate?

I've been doing the raiders and am swimming in bone and iron ore now (yeah!) Just need a good target for charcoal so I can pump out some cokes :)

These places are excellent suggestions. I've made good mats as well as good exp :)

Closest to lvl 30 are the Veelan Bugbear Warrior (24 RoD), Dire Wolf (24, Dion) and the Giggling Wind (28, Windy Hill- NOT Windmill Hill) The Catacomb Wisp (26) Roxide Cohort (29) and Death Fire (32) also spoil it, but they are in dungeons (AND in a party for the Roxide) and represent significantly higher risk.
