Actually, I got a problem with "Bring Out the Flavor of Ingredients" part. I need to collect several ingredients to magister Rolliant in exchange for dessert recipe.
I did that already twice, but all i got was Ritton Jelly (460a worth btw) but no recipe at all.
So, that's the question - how can i get it?
I think its random whether he gives you the recipe or not. Also the time between when he tells you to go away might play a factor. You'll notice he tells you to p!ss off a number of times, best thing to do is check back once per day while doing other quests. By the end of the week you'll most likely get your recipe.
BTW the items that you get for the mag feast quest conclusion vary depending on whether you got all the good ingredients. If you didn't fetch the good stuff don't expect anything apart from some D grade jewellry and a bit of cash.
It's random, giving him time has nothing to do with it... I got the recipe on the first try, didn't know that it was used for another quest; sold it to NPC (It's good "easy money") and botched the feast quest, I'm not grinding for a 60 year old wine again EVER. Maybe on an alt, but not on my main again... I did that one like 14 times already for the money.
And just for you to know; I did the adept of taste quest twice... I'm a glutton for punishment alright. Both low and high qualilty ingredients... I dream of mandragoras now.
I did Mag Feast twice in NG using a zweihander and bronze armor without spamming shots ... it was the longest 3 weeks of my life
If i'd actually bothered to read the quest guides I would have avoided dion until i'd finished the first black lion's quest
