ok, i did some searching but to no avail. i was wondering if somebody could give me a quick break down of what the character attributes do? i.e. STR, CON, WIT, etc. i saw a post somewhere before but now i cant find it.
and on a related note....i am showing interest in this now because i am putting tattoos on my gladiator. he is level 50 now (getting close to B grade) and i would like to strengthen him a bit. i read a few posts about gladiators and they were all pretty helpful but i just cant decide. i imagine i will go all +STR and +DEX but i dont know what i can afford to lose. i am VERY hesitant on losing CON :( is there an attribute that glads can absolutely NOT miss? thanks in advance :)
Tattoos aren't visible. It's just a catchy name :p
Tattoos enhance some stats, whike taking away from others.
Edit: Oh, and you can apply tattoos from level 20 (or after first class change). But I wouldn't do it before 40, as you lose them then. You need different dyes after your second class change. Also, most characters are very balanced in the D grade days, so it really isn't necessary at this time.
wonderful......link will do just fine. although i am kind of confused on the difference between INT and MEN. for INT it says "Increases damage of magic attacks and success rate of curse spells". now in my case, being a glad i dont care about hitting with magic BUT is it saying that it goes the other way? for instance, if i lower my INT, do i have more of a chance of being hit with curse spells? and for MEN it says "Increases magic defense, maximum MP, MP recovery speed, poison resistance, and curse resistance". so i assume if i lower my MEN, i will be more vulnerable to curse spells? thanks for the help guys.
also, any high level glads that are happy with their setup, feel free to share it for references :)
I've been looking for the stats of the boss jewelry, and I can't find the picture. But those jewels give more than just m.def and mana. They can give attack speed, crit rate/power (both or just rate?), casting speed ... and more. I can't remember. Lots of good stuff.
I think they're all A and S grade.
From A grade and up, you have the option to "unseal" jewelry. You do this at blacksmith of mammon for a fee (pay with ancient adena). From B grade and up, you have to unseal your armor, to get the armor bonus. At B grade you do this for free at a regular town blacksmith, but for A grade and up you have to do it at blacksmith of mammon (again with ancient adena).
the lowest boosted jewel is the ant queen's ring. its B grade. from there theres the ring of core, orfen and a few others that are A grade. the 3 S grade ones are Baium earring, Antharas necklas, and Valakas necklace.
most jewelery actually gives more resistance to sleep/hold/poison/paralysis than anything else.
