yea i know, i am sick of being labeled as a care bear server >< its freaking stupid, ive talked to a guy from Lionna and all he can say about Gustin is that we are a buncha purple care bears. not like he plays this server but from wat hes heard he has labled us as care bears, and so have many other people on different servers.... we need to take a step up guys show some action and show more movies of just plain PVP action.... not talking monster race track pvp either.

Lol, a clannie rerolled on another server. People in the clan he was in freaked out when he actually flagged when they were in a face-off with another clan, like 9 vs 9 :P and then they call us carebear...
Well, the thing is, Malevolence fell apart, and with them the alliance that fought NM with all their power. (Don't turn this into a flaming thread please. They both fought hard...)
Then Synergy arose, and fought everyone... Now it's kinda still like that... :P
The high lvls went to their subs ^^ I think that's one of the reasons people don't see them around so much anymore.

Yeah was freakin amazing. I personally like the part where susil from NM slept here, and instead of killing summon or even her, trys to keep sleeping....which you cant do in new chronical. Blaz wakes up...silences susil, kills some archer that wasnt attacking cause she was slept, and then kills susil. Freakin halarious. Looked like a crazy siege, not sure how Syn won that though, looked like NM had upper hand most of the time...

Why is it whenever some high lvl players that have been here forever and decided to move on, and or some major alliance falls apart, people feel the server dies?
Seriously, some people are so **** narrowminded that the major alliances arent even 1/10 of the servers population... and its a cycle, and new alliances emerge and become powerful, its a cycle of life....
Just amazes me how people feel server is dead now cause NM and Malv and such are pretty much in the past. Seems we all forgot abotu WLE, LCN, Republic, HG, etc. You think NM was all powerful from inception? Think EA was? Think Malv was? ... These clans, and alliance grew, reached their full potential and achived their goals... Had their glory days, but like everything in life, glory only lasts so long.
Now is the time for those onther clans and alliances to step up and move up and achieve goals of their owns, and add to the history of this server.
The server will never die, people should stop thinking that... You dont like the way things going, then [Censored] and do something about it instead of just [censored] about it.
If the neutrals step up and make it a real PvP server then no it wont die for a long long time. If they dont its as good as gone.
this is the exact reason why I rerolled on a new server... Do we remember when AEA broke up in C2 due to all the clans losing their will to fight back... I remember it very well.
Everyone is neutral to someone. Most are friends with someone and enemies with someone else.
The term "neutral" came for the old days when you were either EAA, A-EAA, or Neutral. Well.. EAA and A-EAA are gone now.. so it pretty much stands to reason that the Neutrals are also gone.

Something people still have not learned in this game is:
A: If you have friends outside your clan or alliance, that does not mean you cannot PvP them. Stop giving that as an excuse for not PvPing.
B: This game is all based on Player versus Player mode, nothing else. You gain your experiance to get stronger, but also to lose them while in battle. Example: Sieges, mass pvp, gank runs.
C: I just came back to the game, and at level 79 with the guild skill called "clan luck", you lose on a war death clicking to clan hall 0.10% xp at level 79. If you boys and girls would have played 3 years ago, that some us have, you would realize what xp loss mean. We are talking about -4% here, ressed by a prophet in a mass pvp, get 0.3% back, die again and get -4%, EE ress get 0.7% back, and even at some rough fights, we scrolled ressed eachother.
D: Why do people not find PvP as a fun thing? Thats what I have never understood, ever. I do understand that a level 60-65 clan trying to fight Synergy for example or CarpeDiem will not work, but find your own enemies untill the day you get to our point.
Also before im going to finish this post, I havnt read everyone's responds but i quickly read thru someone blaming Kamisama/Beliar for making this server losing population, whoever it was, you sir make me laugh :)

A:Maybe some just think Gustin is dead because they only ever see the same 20 people post about the same 10 topic's in this forum. B: Maybe gustin people left because they couldn't take the heros saying "IMO TBH IMO TBH" anymore...like they even know what those mean. ;)

I don't think anyone was giving Kami or beliar credit for depopulating Gustin, only remembering:
1. That people said years ago that 'Gustin is Dead' and
2. That Beliar publicly said on one of the forums that his goal was to drive everyone off the server so that we would then merge with a new server and have a new challenge.
No one with any sense sees the relatively low population of Gustin as the fault of any one person, however our forums (even then) made it look like a pretty unattractive server--so many people that could have grown Gustin went to other servers.
I agree with you on the 'be friends, kill each in other mercilessly' part, but our forums have always been about 'unfair advantage' 'merciless ganking' 'cheating' and 'butthurt' which doesn't really do much marketing for the server. So people chose whatever other server seemed better to them.
We'll find out tonight how dead this [censored] server is. Or tomorrow night.

Where can you get the real numbers on server population? It's true you can 'eyeball' the numbers but gee willakers, to know what the real numbers are would be just swell.

Wouldn't the numbers on a server be different for every person?
One person might have a small group of friends who xp together all the time and are perfectly happy. They pass other people, might join a clan and go on raids and stuff. For them the server has enough people for their game play.
Then there are those that like to PVP, belong to a large clan, have many friends, have many options in that they can play a main and an alt to the same level as there are enough people on the server to allow for that. If their game play cannot be achieved to them the server is lacking in population.
Then those that are in the middle won't decide either way until something affects their game play that causes them to make an evaluation.
There will even be a few that think it's overcrowded.
