Hello, I am fairly new to the game and have a question concerning Daggers Vs. Duals. My toon is a PR. I noticed that for example top C grade duals have a higher Patk then top c grade dagger.
If I would to wield the Duals vs. Daggers or vice versa which would actually do the more damage. I figured the Duals would because of the Patk being higher . On the other hand , as a PR I have skills that are geared more toward the dagger aside from the sting attack which duals also benefit from.
So, I like the look of duals better than the dagger, but looks do not matter in PvE or PvP and I want to know basically which in the end has the overall superior damage OUtput for a Phantom Ranger?
As for attack, going off the stats. You will have more P att from the dagger assuming you lvled up your dagger skills to lvl 36, then from just the stats. Also the dagger crits alot more, which means more damage. As for the damage from the duals, you don't have any masteries in them, so you will be riding the base P att. for them, and that p att is based on both swords hitting. Sure it does hit alot more often then a dagger, but expecially when using SS, its so annoying to see only one of your swords hitting, and using the full SS charge. At least when the dagger misses, the next time it hits, it will use the SS to its full potential.
Plus with the dagger you will have Mortal Blow at your side, for extra damage when it hits.
