Now see how easy that was. All it took is a fish guy in Floran who will deal with reds. Floran needs more NPC's that will do business with reds; primarily a dusk priest. It would be this easy to allow reds in the catas and necros. I wish they would place a dusk priest in Floran.
If I'm red, I either want to look for a fight (perma-red alt). Or I want to sneak somewhere to the right level mobs to work it off. (my main)
It's probably allowed simply because it's of no particular use to them. It doesn't make it particularly easier to be red, so there's no reason to disallow it.
actually, i have a clan member who was red and fishing in aden, he worked his karma off in a safe zone from fishing up monsters all day lmao... not the most efficient way to do things, but i suppose if you're paranoid... :D
And Reds can sign up for dusk/dawn, you've just got to be a ninja about it. =]
Are you sure? Will the dusk/dawn priest in Gludin talk to a red? I've never tried it, I just assumed that they couldn't, and a lot of people have told me they couldn't.

You know, I thought so too, actually. Why would they, considering all the other NPCs don't, right? I know the Dawn priest in Dion works from personal experience. I can't speak for the Gludin priest/priestess, but I can only assume it's the same deal.
Because he had an argument with another person about a fishing spot ?
Or maybe somebody tried to steal your bait.
Fishing as a red just gives it a bit of "zing". The more natural you look while being red, the more people will be cautious about you.
It was really hilarious to see peeps coming in or out of Giran, and then stopping a bit, to observe you. Then they'd all leave.
Try fishing while looking all around you all the time from fear of seeing a "ganker" try and take your life. Pretty exciting stuff.
Then you stroll in town as a red, and do a little shopping (WH dwarves wouldn't let me deposit my gear, **** dwarves).
Didn't try with a Dusk or Dawn priest, but the regular NPC's won't deal with you. And then you get a train of loot hungry following you around, waiting that you exit town...
