Ive seen a few people with clan shields now. Any info. on how to get them? Like do you have to hold a clan hall or castle? Where to get them from? TYVM =)
If you're talking about a graphic next to their name, you have to be in a level 3 clan to have a crest. You upload the crest (a bitmap, 256 color, 16 x 12 only) from your machine. An alliance leader can also add a smaller crest that shows up to the left of the clan crest.
I'm gonna make a clan... and liek... get the Castle in Talking Island and... then the other one... until I like, control all of them. Me, and my glock.
You don't have to have a castle to have one. though my alliance now holds a castle, I bought my shield from the Clan Hall merchant. Havng said that... I wonder if I gave it to someone if they would then see their crest on the shield or if you just have to have the clan hall.
you get the shields from item creation in your hall or castle, i just tried something and discovered, surprise! clans who dont own a hall or castle but do own a shield cant equip it! ha! no wonder they only cost 14k... so um, dont bother buying one from a resell shop anywhere unless you have a hall yourself and are just too cheap to turn on creation sigh
you can't trade or sell a CH shield. (I tried it on the PTS)
They have a p df of 90, and a very bad rate. they are ugly to.
they are ugly, and useless..I don't even know why NCsoft wasted time on another navity item that is useless..maybe they will use grafics for more importent things like cloaks/capes and helmet effects (even tho I'm madly opposed to helmet effects).
The cost of 14k for one is a waste of good money that you could put to use by buying shots or healing pots!
oh and they are considered to be non-grade to, so no ++ them eathier.
