Well so far I got to Lvl 19 finished my Warrior quest! :D this game is grind fest alot grinding to level up question is how you make money? At Lvl 19 I barely have 220,465 adena... I went to shops looking at D-Grade armor they go for 250,000+ a piece of armor... So I made calculations I need about 3+ Million adena to set my self full D-Graded armor jewls and weapons plus soulshots and potions..... Tough MMO is there tradeskills or something to make money? Also where is the best place to purchase D-Graded armor and weapons?

Thank you.
I guess, only trade skills you need is your own intelligence, observation and some times a little luck :)
Manor and trade is all you need.

See Castle control map on the left for the city that has the lowest tax rate. All non starter villages sell low d-grade, Giran has second to top D-gear also. But you get armour/weapons cheaper from player stores, if any one still has low d stuff.
Dont expect to be in top D grade by the time you hit 20, unless you buy adena or have rich friends/clannies/alts to help you out. Using the drops as a guide - top no grade a low D mats and recipes drop right around Dion from level 20ish mobs. Top D mats and recipes drop from level 40ish mobs. Essentially you are meant to be in Top D by the time you do your 2nd class change quests.

Having said that if you use keep your eyes out for opportunities you can make some adena to set you up. Prices vary over time, so what the marketplace and snap up those bargains and resell em. Use the manor system and sell your mats in Giran. theres lots of ways out there.

Also use the Blacksmith of Mammon. Buy a low mid D weapon which will be more than adequate for levels 20-30, hunt in a group in the Catacombs earning ancient adena. Then by the time you get level 35 you probably have enough to upgrade it to a top D weapon.

good luck ;)
- AOE groups was a good way to make money for SE.
- Full drops (must be lucky, I got many full drops or good recipes to sell).
- Selling assembled varnish of purity, Synthetic Cokes etc if you have a dorf alt...
- Fishing is good also
Buy low, sell high!!!! Thats the name of the game. I make alot from doing this, but it takes a bit of walking through the private stores, figuring out what the present prices are, and a bit of startup cash. Even simple things like sitting in a town, watching for DSS ect to sell for 1A cheaper then normal, buy 20k of it, and flip it for normal price. Sells very quickly, and bam you made 20K, alot of times in a minute or so, assuming you know where to sit.

Don't come to the orc starter town..... I speak from experience. :p
You do not need 3 million for d-grade. That would be extremely luxurious beyond the dream of avarice (but just about on par with ebay-dreams). Top store-bought everything won't even come up to 3 million, and there's no reason you'd need that if you play the game with any strategy.

It's an economy - there are things you can do to make money. The most effective methods to make money involve providing things for richer/higher-level characters who are willing to overpay for various goodies.

Search around and you'll learn about methods. The newest is fishing, but other options abound. They will take time away from leveling.
Not sure what server you are on, but he may be looking at price of Brig helmet, which can be very expensive. 3 mil for the set isn't that out of line. That being said, from personal experience, don't expect to be in top everything the moment you cross a grade line. For D expecially, get 1 piece at a time, even if it is a few lvls between pieces. Just pick what the most important piece next is and slowly save for it. I finally got my top D stuff about lvl 35-37, no where near the 20 mark. C grade was about the same. As for B and higher, you know the system by then, and it gets a bit easier, but not by much.

Another thing you can do, find yourself a good clan. When everyone works together to equip everyone, things tend to go more smoothly.
