scavs can craft the Common items like everyone else and dwarven items (dwarven up to lvl 1).

hint: as a noblesse, you can subclass a bounty hunter even as a warsmith, but not the other way around.
yes, they can, but level 1 recipes at max (just as the arti/ws can use spoil level1).
No, you get Create Items lvl 1 as a fighter but you will get no more levels of it unless you become an Artisan. Scavengers do not level Create Items ever again. If you're leveling a scavenger then you should learn all the lvl 1 mat recipes (especially Course Bone Powder) you can. It'll be usefull later.
Yeah, its funny but my scav has some better recipes then my artisan does. The way of the Spoiler gets increased spoils and spoil festivals, the way of the Artisan gets increased crafting lvls, and summons. But they both get lvl 1, as they are teh same up to lvl 20. Much like the Bishop has some low lvl nukes, and the nuker has low lvl heals.

create lvl 3? for a fighter meaning that scavis have too

ok, expand dwarven craft measn you get more recipes to hold in your recipe book. not that you can craft big items. you can craft only level 1 dwarven items, but you regularly can level up your COMMON item (fishing) skill.

only ONLY ONLY artisan/Warsmith may create dwarven items higher than level 1. and NO u cant subclass a Warsmith.
why ws's are better than bh's (http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/5460/majspoil5ms.jpg)
last i checked a bh needed a ws to craft ^^

BTW just so noone gets ****** at me it took 2 days to get that rec and was the only reason i was bothering to spoil
I still AM ****** at the fact, that the lvl 1 Spoil of WS has a slim chance to work on ANY level of mob.

How about we Bounty Hunters get a chance of lets say 2%, that a high level craft works too ? Oh and of course the materials won't vanish, if it does not work. It would only cost MP, just like the Spoil does for WS.

Warsmiths are getting babysitted all the time. They got more skills than BHs, they need less SP for the same skills than BH and the single unique BH skill is available for WS too, but not vice versa.

Growling Kitten
oh come on now, my lvl 1 spoil has got me a few b armor and weapon enchants but its few and very far between. dont complain at least you get high lvl spoils. people actually want you in party. warsmith in party does nothing, i would give up my lvl 1 spoil for any party skill.

people actually want you in party

And what do I get from being in a party ? A big whooping nothing.
Exp is meaningless, exp only brings me into levels, where I can earn less money.

Partyless Kitten
omg man, if your a bh and your not making money your doing something wrong. xp is the key to making money in this game, the higher lvl you are the better the drops and spoils. if you think warsmiths make so much try one. just look at the price of those recipies (mostly spoiled btw). BH can make serious money off recipies and mats if they take the time to sell them. I have a 61 warsmith and a 41 spoiler and my spoiler makes twice the money xping in a day as my crafter makes in his shop over night.
And are you grouped, while you make that big money or are you solo ?

I did not say, that I was not making money, but I make money SOLO, e.g. NOT sharing spoils with greedy people.

You said, that BHs would at least find groups, and I counter that, with groups being not the thing, that a BH needs most, as in a group a BH will earn less money than solo.

Soloist Kitten
It's easy to make money in groups as a BH, even when you share spoils. Just don't hit the mob and only spoil ;)

Whenever I partied with a BH he could choose if he wanted to share or not, all I wanted would be a donation after the hunt like e.g. when I need some crafting mats that spoil there or some base mats etc.

I hardly ever party with "unknown" people and 90% with friends, so it works out quite well. I don't make my money with drops or anything, I make it on the market playing economist...

Though with mob level 25+ a Spoil Level 1 should be as useless as a Doom Dagger when soloing Antharas...

Seen a WS 67 spoiling better than a BH 60 doing Doom Knights... That was kinda sad...
**** knew i shouldnt have posted that screenshot :(

Hmm that what you think maybe.
I agree i made some money with recipes till c2 when share spoil hits. After that spoil only recipes where avalible for everyone.
Since you can trade weapons at Mammon there is also no big need of D and C weapon recipes even if you have some rare.
Crafting them is mor expensive then upgrade the wepons.

Now u think yeah but B and A grade recipes go expensive.
For some it fits and some are dirt cheap.
The reson is simple some B grade recipes spoil so badly since they added the 3rd item they are even harder to get now plus face it often u need groups to get to the mob where u can spoil the recipe and mobs is 2x-4x hp.
I dont say its impossible to get there and solo that mobs but i dont think its worth the effort because a rare spoil takes time.
For A grade its mostly the same i think even more worse solo.
Why i say solo ? well in party u have share spoil on and from my experience the BH is the last one that get that rare spoil. So mainly someone else will benefit from your skill.

Talking of key mats at lvl 60 you can spoil key mats for top C to top B Grade. Yeah thats nice u get the key mats free but lack of the other needed materials. Sure i agree i make most of my money by crafting away my key mats and sell items. But then its not that often plus everyone can do that very easy no need to have a spoiler. Just go to Giran look around i.e. sweet doom shield mats for 5k a piece and recipes for 80k just buy and sell the shield later or make crystals from it.

Talking of the normal materilas go spoil normal field mobs at lvl 60 what you will get is u spoiled 1 silver nugget or 1 silver nugged and thread or iron. Some mobs will surly give you 1-3 varnish or some steel or CBP but not in high quantitys.
The only mobs that will give u more of one item are in the catacombs that are 4x hp mobs. Yes its possible again to solo them but it takes time.
Then look at it 1 hour spoiling with lets say a lvl 58 BH doin soul of ruins or that lizard shamans in Forest of mirrors and doin manor with lvl 20 char and doin low lvl seeds red coda booth in top of there Grade .
The Bounty Hunter get 1-3 varnish out of almost every mob the lvl 20 char gets out from one seed 8- 10 crop per mob at the buybackrate at 200 per crop that is 8-10 varnish. Now lets see how long it takes to kill for the Bounty hunter without ss and buffs you do like 6-7 mobs then rest 5 mins or longer.
The lvl 20 char depending what class u did can hunt down like 10 to endless then need rest for 2-3 mins without using ss too.
So the lvl 20 char will defenly earn more materials.

What ppl miss to understand is Warsmiths and Bountyhunters ppl play to help everyone. The BH gets rare key mats and recipes the WS craft and supply SS or SpS.
Why they cant benefit a little out of it ? Who says the BH will not help you get stuff u need free or the WS will craft for free to nice ppl ?
They gave up fun skills to do that and you ppl thank that by sayin : " Ur Warsmith huh ? no thanks we have a full party "
or " Ur Bounty hunter huh ? you can join when u pay with 50-90% of all your spoils ( share spoil ) "

I agree with Kitten to greedy ppl i would add lasy too. To lasy to lvl an own BH/ WS up.
Lol, wow a bunch of greedy dwarves here :P

Personally I make more adena when I am in a group. Sure I have to share spoils, but when grouped with a healer, and a couple of DD's, you may only get 25% of the spoils, but the kills are so much faster, you don't have to spend nearly as much on SS, and with a healer, the downtime is limited. Some parties I have been in, I don't touch the special attacks, and my MP is drained, due to the amount of spoils I have done in the given time. The Healers are spamming BSPS, the DD's are spamming SS/BSPS and there you sit clciking spoil this, spoil that. Actually Spoil Festival is a HUGE adena saver. Expecially when in pole/AOE parties, the other members are spamming their shots away, and all you do is click "Spoil festival" MP used, then sit there and try to collect all the blue mobs. You don't have any cost other then a few SS in the beginning when you are attacking before the mobs start dying.

Remember, if you get 25% of the spoils, and you kill 8X the mobs in a given time, you are getting 2X the spoils you would solo. No heal pot costs/paying for buffs, etc. Its all clear adena.

come back in 20 lvls tell us how you are doing then ^^
too answer the original post.... ALL dwarves get the crafting skill, and ALL dwarves get the spoil skill... which class you choose at 20 decides which skill you get updates in.

and to the rest of you greedies - warsmith spoil has a low % chance to work on any monster... and bounty hunters can use any level 1 recipe, you can use these to craft up mats you spoil and sell for more than you would otherwise, so stop arguing before NC decides to combine all dwarfs as one or delete your race from the game :P
Actually have a few clannies that are in their 6x's and they are doing fine.

Lets not forget in a good party, most parties I get into, the only reason I am there is because I can increase everyones cashflow. Therefore, my role in the party is to hit spoil festival, and then sweep away. The rest of the people in party are taking care of spamming SS/BSPS etc. There are no real costs to being in party, as opposed to solo, as all SS and healing is done by other members of the team. And yes in a good pole party, with 2-3 poles/AOE attackers, and a healer or 2, the death count is rather rapid, you get a share of the all adena falling, get share of drops, and a share of your spoils all with very little input from your part.

If you want to be a hermit, and solo your entire gametime becuase you don't want to share your "special skills" so be it, I will be out partying, having fun and if I manage to make everyone a bit more then they would without me being there, all the better.

As for the OP, while the crafters do have a low level spoil on a single mob, the spoilers in the game get not only a higher lvl spoil skill, which is alot more effective, they also get a super sweet skill called Spoil Festival. This essentially is used to spoil all the mobs in an area at a given time. Great for pole/AOE parties. You drop that skill, and wait for the mobs to start dropping, you can have a huge pile of blue glowing mobs on the floor at once. My biggest wish for a skill to be added to a BH is Sweep Festival, now that would be heaven.

As for why the WS's are better then BH's, well sure you need a WS to craft something, but as a BH you rarely have to worry about being TOTALLY undercut by the competition for your spoil prices. I was in Giran the other day, and saw a crafting shop making some not bad recipes for 1a each. Really makes you happy you gave a BH a half a million to be able to craft it. Only have to make a half a million of them to break even.
Darn, time expired to edit that last post.

Was going to add, its funny that dwarves sit and argue about a WS getting a low lvl spoil, and a BH gets a lvl 1 craft.

Did you ever see a bishop argue about a nukers ability to give themselves low lvl heals, or a prophet complain that a bishop has mid ranged buffs? or any other race argue about any similarities they may have had when they shared similar lvls?

Didn't think so :)

the only reason I am there is because I can increase everyones cashflow

Dwarves do very decent damage and can stun. A dwarf should share a part of their spoils, but not by turn unless he is with people who he can trust to return rare spoils. I'm happy if I party a BH and he or she gives me a few parts I needed afterwards, or a share of the base mats.

Of course, this requires trust, which is hard to come by in this game.
... soo many WS complain about not getting any party love.... that is horrible to hear lol ... my normal party is an SE, BIS and 2BHs and a WL/Destroyer.... and the only reason we don't have a WS in party is because all of them rerolled ><

I consider WS as a DD/ support sweeper ^^ if you want some WS love and play on gustin. Send me a PM but you need to know how to use big poles and shift+sweep.

if we have room I will send you a party invite
our normal aoe parties have lvls ranging from mid60s-70+ (fyi)

Yep, but when in a pole party situation, well the ones I usually get in, I may only attack the mobs 2-3 times before they start dying. So my abilities to do damage/take a beating aren't being used.

You get the main poler to run the train, wait for them to attack the mobs a few times (to ensure aggro), then you drop the Spoil festival. By the time you swing a couple of times, the lesser mobs will already be falling. You stop attacking, and start frantically trying to target all the blue flashing mobs lying on the floor. The party wipes out the entire train, you hit maybe twice, get an equal share of the drops that were come by their spamming of SS/BSPS and for a bit of MP, you supply the spoils (which in most cases equals less then the amount of adena/stones/drops that hit the floor by the party's doing). Rinse and repeat.

By the end of the party, you may have used hardly any SS and no pots (ie no real cost to you) the other people in party may have spammed 100k in SS/BSPS the tank/poler will have gone thru a ton of pots, and all you have to do is accept you can't have all the spoils.
AOE/Pole parties need one BH (to hit spoil festival.) As long as you have one BH, the other pole dudes can be WS's since the main problem with AOE parties is sweeping the blue mobs lieing on top of one another. The WS's 'sweep' skill is just as effective as the BH's. It is only the WS 'spoil' that isn't. The WS gives you another chance to sweep the mobs. If I'm alone in such a group, I miss some sweeps, and it is frustrating.

I never understood excluding WS's after the party has a BH.
Lol, probably becuase of all the animosity between the BH's and the WS's. LMAO!!!!

Alot of BH's on here would probably rather miss half of their sweeps then share their spoils with a WS. There is less fighting between Dark and Light elves then there is between the 2 dwarf classes.
That is definitely not true. I would rather kiss any Warsmith than sit on the same side as an elf.

Also WS and BH are mostly in the same bad situation when compared with the other races.

That however does not stop me wondering, why the Class, that is described to be the daring fighter is having LESS combat skills and pays MORE SP to get them.

If it got pointy ears, it is not my friend ! (Cats excluded)
