I just got my "President of the club" Eye Patch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_patch) , and was surprised to see the results. First of all, the conversion rates are MUCH better while wearing the patch (so while gutting fish, make sure to close one of your eyes). Seriously, conversion rates went from 50-60% to 75-80%. MUCH more booty ! Arrrrrr !
Also, I don't fish any more mobs. Well, almost none. dropped from 5% to like 1%. I guess mobs are scarred of the eyespatch, eh mates ?
I don't lose as many lures. Lure loss down from 10% to about 5%. You can fish longer in the same spot before you start losing lures consistantly. *grumbles*
It's also very fashionable, people are attracted to you like flies when you wear one of these babies.

Personally i hate the eye patch, almost as much as i hate fishing, i never know when to pull it, yank it, tugg it or what ever. Cant i just get a spear and dive in and catch em that way :confused: ?
No. You might want to ask Tokara tho. I'm pretty sure most of the clan halls can produce it.
He told me it costs 110K to buy it from clan hall.
Oh, and SPS, it's really easy. Keep an eye on the blue bar (fish health). If it's idle, you pump. If it's gaining health, then you reel. Make sure to use fishing shots for best results.
Fishing skill level 14. You get two sets of fish that pay in gems (2 at a time), Big Yellow nimble and small Orange nimble.
Also you got the Orange set that gives 2 shinny fish gems per Orange nimble.
So you keep the 2/1 fish gems/shinny fish gem ratio to craft an item. 300 gems and 150 shinny needed.

The bait to catch 'fast' fish is what catches the nimble ones right? I'll prolly start fishing more than 20 min a day now that I know I'm on the right track. :)
It's a lapsus calami or "slip of the pen". It's writting one word that resembles the obvious word you were trying to write.
What makes it funny is that both words work in that sentence.

Ok as the captain of captains, fishiest smelly of the fishiest, I motion that you petition that they allow us to enchant our fishing rods because right now you can't do it. The blue glow should attract more fish even if it doesn't improve the damage.
They could make Enchant rod D-S scrolls. I agree it doesn'T really matter about damage. But the glowy effect would be nice for "master fishermen"...
They could have the enchant scrolls drop from the fish, so you could actually fish with the faith that you COULD score a Big Fish...
All sorts of other fishing gear would be welcome. Fishing hat, fishing gloves, hell even a fishing suit. But the NEXT thing they have to add, is personnal boats !!!
The could act as pets do, and you could "mount" them in the water. This would allow for deep sea fishing, where all the recipes for common craft items are...
ROFL. I agree with wyzeguy. Some kind of alcoholic beverage (preferably Dion black beer) is a must when you fish. It could give adverse effects on fighting, but increase say your rate of conversion...
Oh, and yes, more types of lures. I think the mobs should drop special bait, bait you could use to generate more treasure.
The chests should not have the same loot tables as fish and should drop MUCH better stuff than just oils of POCF. Something like a stone of purity, or a thon, etc...
